I'm a big guy as well and the best advice I can give you is that any work out will improve your shooting performance. Whether you walk at fast pace for a hour or hit the free weights. But my agility and explosiveness went through the roof when I got back in gym and started back lifting.

I'm with you. But if I'm already at a major match I will shoot in the rain and mud before waste my vacation days, fuel money, hotel fees, match fees ect. My choice is good rain coat that goes down at lest mid thigh, a ball cap, water proof foot wear and water proof gun cover (a cheap shower cap). Side note, you can find cheap shower caps in the African american hair care product section in walmart. I think I paid less than $3 for a bag of 20 shower caps. Also, if your cleats aren't water proof you could always take hobo route with putting plastic bags over your socks before you put your cleats on.

I Use the free lucas oil with metal tip/applicator until it runs out and just refill the bottle with something like Mpro 7. I really like the bottle with metal tip more than anything.

You can also use an aluminium mainspring housing or at least that what I did when my Trojan didn't make .

If given the option to shoot with buddies I will take that option every time. I actually withdrew from a local match once bc the only squad that was available was the geriatric squad. I know that sounds mean and disrespectful but this squad will work you to death and add 1-2 hours to your match.

Where did he find someone to ream the throat on a Czechmate? Its my understanding the the coating on the CZ barrels is too hard to ream or at least it is on the shadow2.

I have been batting around the Idea of switching to a TSO. So I'm going to barrow a buddy's TSO to see if I like it and I'm trying to figure out if my loads that I run in my SS/2011 will work. I typically run a 1.165 OAL.

Can anyone tell me what the maximum OAL for a CZ TSO in .40 cal? Sorry if this question has been answer multiple times already. I tried searching for the answer but came up empty.

Which spring and follower kit allows you to get the highest round count in a Rescomp mag tube in .40??

Well, I picked up a 1,000 GAT bullets and they ran like a champ and are super accurate.....Not to mention they are pretty cheap, which is always a plus. Thanks for the advice. Nick

I had the same issue with a crossbreed super tuck and an 1911...I didn't get the atomic wedgie such as yourself but I damn near pulled my shoulder out socket.

I found a good supply of semi wadcutters but I have heard that XD/Xdm's will not run semi wadcutters.....I just wondering if any one has had any experiance with this combo?

I think it made a world of differnce in my XDm 40 4.5.... I was getting a little bit of muzzle flip with the stock guide rode.

One of the guys that I shoot use to run an open glock in 9mm major for plates and USPSA. The guy was bad fast with it and it ran pretty good when he could keep his fingers out the gun....the more he dicked with the gun the worse it got.
