  1. all i can say is with a benelli version, you MUST shorten the tubes. have never seen the 930 version...suggest you call ralph-he mage it, he should know.
  2. My 930 has the older Arredondo chute and works perfectly. You need the benelli tubes though...or shorten the tongue on the remmy tubes to work.
  3. Lead and copper is cheaper than a year ago
  4. That is freeking unbelievable, ANOTHER PRICE INCREASE. Had a increase from July 2012 of $320 to $348 a 8% increase then another one from the November price of $340 to $348, little over 2% can deal with than but from $348 to $370 another 6%...total of 16% in basically 8 months when they have SOOOO much business they had to shut down their online ordering site...maybe if we all stop agreeing to being held up the price may come back down to a respectable/affordable level....I doubt it but this is getting out of hand... +1. it certainly does seem excessive. they make great bullets, and i have yet to find an equal...unless you have the cash for hornady stuff. IAC, they have roped us in and we are now assimilated.
  5. wife buys expensive mirror and wants in hung in the guest bedroom. once she tells me which wall and the height, i take over. in order to determine the center of the wall, i whoop out my $26 fat max tape measure to find the center of the wall and mark the preferred height. in order to determine where the two mounting holes go, i do a little math with my $400 iPhone to get the exact location. i mark them and but before i drill, i yank out my $49 stud sensor to make sure there is no romex cable and hot wires hiding behind the drywall. next, i grab my $239 makita lithium drill, first drilling just one hole in the drywall. then, grab my $49 bubble level to ensure the location of the second hole i'm about to drill will be level. drill another hole and we're 1/2 way there. next, gotta screw in some drywall anchors. once done, the screws for the anchors are supposed to go into the wall and protrude 3/8". how to figure that? yep, out to the garage and back with my $109 digital micrometer. set the depth of the mounting screws to .375. then, grab my $129 brownell's gunsmith screwdriver kit and set them. finally, how to mount the mirror's mounting hooks onto the screws since you can't get the hooks to stay open? duct tape baby! add a piece to the back of the mirror keeping the hooks up so they will now grab the mounting screws. end result, the wife now convinced about $900 worth of toys was justified. even got the duct tape some street cred. now all i gotta do is figure out how to use my 1050 to finish mounting the central vac...
  6. cross-draws? got 'em. plaxco model on the right...
  7. FF3...for the simple reason you can change batteries WITHOUT having to re-zero. Having done that in a hotel room during a match is unsettling, not knowing where yer bullets are going.
  8. I can't even get rimfire:( +1 We can make any other caliber...
  9. gotta admit, had this thing for years. was pulling a few crappy WW white box 223 rounds today and it exploded...not from detonation, just use. still haven't found the powder and bullet...last seen banking around my garage.
  10. only worse cause .22LR is as expensive as real ammo!
  11. Pointed your gun at the neighbor's head!!! Ever hear the first rule on guns is THAT YOU NEVER POINT A GUN AT ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY AND THEN YOU POST IT ON ENOS!! And then the next post thinks that it is funny! Really!! take a chill pill, dude...of course it was a joke.
  12. Omg-that thing must be 4" above the bore,
  13. no way does this scope mount flex...
  14. Larue spr-e...buy once, cry once.
  15. Gave up on 55 fmj-been stocking up on 50 gr vmax for like $16 per 100. My new hoser ammo
  16. We shoot 4" steel plates on stands that are attached to a steel cable so they only fly a couple feet.
  17. ok, just got back from the range for the 1st time with this beast. awesome scope. bore sighted it on neighbor's forehead across the street before i left. shot 3 rounds at 100 and was real close. couple clicks and it's dead at 100. dialed in the estimated drop at 200 and set target to 200...minor adjustment and the 200 zero is on. zero the turrets and set a target at 300. fire 5 shots, walk down range and WTF? nice group, about 7" low. idiot! realized i used the dot for 300...gay. go back and try again at 300 using the first tree. back down range and i am friggin' done. nice sub moa group dead on at 300. after that, it was too easy at 360 and 410 yds on a flasher. tried a 2' x 3' rectangle up a hill at 560 yds...first shot money. quit for the day. glass is clear...real clear-acog clear. field of view a joke. at 300 yds i can see tons of stuff . so used to 3.5x that i was in shock seeing hits on a flasher at 350+. going to a 3 gun match sunday to put it thru it's paces on the clock. at 58, my eyes are not like they once were and now i can honestly see wtf i'm shooting at beyond 300 yds. might add this is just plain cheating. you guys that have been using swaros and this thing should be ashamed of yourself.
  18. enuf of this! just get rid of clays...get rid of spreaders, get rid of diffusion chokes. shoot steel.
  19. ok, i get that some companies make ammo, some only powder, some only bullets, some primers and other stuff. but wtf is with powder only companies being so short? say VV or even accurate arms. are they also selling all their powder to ammo companies and not to retailers? something seems strange in that regard.
