  2. unfortunately for us 3 gunners, it appears only the german #4 reticle is going into the tr-21...only the 3x versions get the mildot and other duplex. i haven't seen trijicon's version of the german #4, but the others are way too thick. would have been nice to have some bdc reticle for it.
  3. barry-mo betta to hit the vegas gun shows if yer outta state
  4. bass, 53 gibson eb-1...oh yea, a 58 flying v somewhere around here as well.

  10. But your always soo... Nice? Who have you pushed around lately? ? What is the serial # on the legendary Chip Gun ? I gotta Tell you the #20 spot ...Thats special If you wanna be a Snob Opengun Bully you gotta show some Bling Silence hummm I can dig that. Has its own slice of Bully to it. Ok you get #20 ....Mr SOB #20 I dub you " Old Heater " Run it Hot my friend serial# is 22. so, how's this for snobby? i spread my bling around. some of these are older than forum members, and some cost more than a brazos open gun!
  11. u want prizes, practice, practice, practice and shoot the steel challenge. uspsa is not about prizes. besides, it's the nationals...enjoy the vibes.
  12. can i join this bunch? i have, and am still shooting, an original chip mccormick framed hicap 1911. yep, s/n 22, circa 1990. in fact, all my short mags are originals as well. had several top ends over the years, but she's still crankin' out the heat.
  13. for a long time i've been curious why different .223 ammo shoots so different in all guns. what shoots great in some, ain't so great in others-even with the exact same load. some barrels like lighter bullets, others heavy. so, i'm curious, for reloading .223, what are the critical things? obviously bullets, but after that, then, what? i've shot lots of different powders, and don't think that matters much. so, what's next? case prep? case length? OAL? crimp? we're not shooting benchrest in 3-gun, but what might be the most critical part of reloading for .223?

  19. got a WE for b-day and immediately mounted a docter clone to it on a delrin mount from dayz gone by. having alot of fun in the garage. went to a pizza joint last weekend that was selling bud in these aluminum bottles. decided to drink 5 of them so i could take those bottles home. the result-pin shooting! and those pellets do knock over the bottles! not as fun as second chance, but it is cool. mr sweeney...you gotta get one now.
  20. BJ-i don't think there are walls like your present them on the attachment, just personal preference. in my case, i started shooting the steel challenge back in 1985...every year thru 2001. gave it up cause it got boring to me. shot uspsa since about 1986 and still do 3 times a month. got into 3 gun back in 1990, and shoot that as often as i can. i see no walls, just opportunities to spend time & money.
  21. never...supposed to pour this weekend in bakersfield for the 3gun winter classic...perfect!
  22. tried it again last weekend, this time each star had both shoot and hard cover plates, activated by turnstiles. wasn't even fun! http://web.mac.com/speedoption/CAPSL/Movie_9.html
