I don't think I said "touch anything"....resting as in monopod for stability for long range shooting is where the issue is.
The "angle" is a requirement feeding and duplicate the angle of the parent gun.

Bringing your own guns ruins the appeal for me.

Better unsaid.

Enter the 2nd gun as "Your Name" with a 2 on the end as an identifier.
I get that. The part that can't be easily handled is displaying the results. In the example sweetback posted he shot 65.01 with the "for score" gun and 61.02 with the "for fun" gun. Because there's no way to not include the "for fun" gun in the results it's going to be listed higher than the "for score" gun. This isn't a problem when you shoot the same gun in two different divisions.
Until the new rule book is published I plan to follow section 2.1.2 and state on the registration form that the shooter can only shoot each division once.
Understood.

Nick Atkinson runs a Glock and has several championships to his credit.
James Casanova runs a Glock and he too has won many championships.
I have won a couple of matches as well...and yup...Glock.
Just pick what you want...if it has you practicing more because you like it...you have made a good choice

Mine was from the second set of guns in the country through eagle.
Mine was a Centruy Arms import.

My newer k100 is stepped.
Mine is an older K100 non Mark 12 frame. So looks like the new design is stepped.
Thanks Kingman for the info.

Never heard of that before, myself. I guess I could understand it if you were shooting the same gun by paying for tickets in two divisions. For example, SS/CDP for first go around, and then use the same gun for limited. Each run would be clearly and specifically earmarked for a particulary category. Otherwise, 'round here the second go-around would simply be for practice, nothing on the books.
That would be my take as well. I routinely shoot a Limited gun in Limited and Open.

No I don't think it can be reamed...but you could try.

Try shining a light back through the muzzle. This is how the step looks.

A picture is worth a thousand words if you could possibly take a picture of your straight cut chamber. I would really appreciate it!
It looks like most every other pistol barrels chamber. I think the HK 30L might be stepped as well, but this
stepped chamber is the exception not the rule.
-
I don't know if I have any steel cased ammo left, but will try to get some before my next trip and make a video. My K100 has the stepped chamber and stops every round... HARD! Is the pistol in the video a stepped design or straight cut?
Straight as it my P45. I don't think you will get the stepped chamber to run any steel case reliably.

I run Tula thru my K100 all the time have not had any issues. It's been 100 percent with any ammo I've tried so far.
I did not think the K100 had a stepped chamber....only the xcal.
-
I am confident it is because of the "match" stepped chamber design.
Sorry...I thought this was about the Xcalibur. I did not think the K100 had the stepped chamber...mine does not.

Ever since Hugh Hefner, back in the 50's, I've LOVED pictures
I saw your lovely groups, but missed the distance they were shot at ...
Dude! You got the inference! Thanks!
Oh and 28 yards (normally 25 but I got lazy)

Maybe you are the one guy that reads and doesn't look at the pictures! hahahaha

Pat, I saw your comment that the Xtreme 124's "held up well at Major velocity",
but were they as accurate as MG or Zero?
The answer to accuracy was in the article...that is why I write them...for my colleagues to read.
Did I compare them to other bullets? No, I did not. But sub 1" groups at 28 yards might be considered...ok?

Thanks, Pat. As always, you give out some good, solid info. I'm subscribed to you, so I've already seen the one you posted. Here's another one from Taran Tactical's Youtube channel that features Bob V. talking about his grip. At 1:36, Bob says, "If you're not squeezing the gun harder with your support [non-dominant] hand than your strong [dominant] hand, then you're doing something wrong." I guess that pretty much explains where he stands w/ the whole both hands vs support/strong hand grip pressure debate.
At about the 3 minute mark (in my video) I mention that I am in agreement with Robert Vogel.
