    Great article, as usual.

    Thanks, Pat.

You are most welcome...thank you for being one of the few who READ them!

I failed to mention it uses 6.8SPC mags and bolt.

The editor failed to include my chrono data.

Thanks again for the video. Hell, three-fourths of the comments on the forum are off the cuff. I like that gun and the video and wish I could shoot as well as you.

    Thank you!

I try to get all the info straight on camera, but you see me as I am in the field in real time. And sometimes I either

don't have all the info on tap or that info was not available at the time or my brain just ain't working quite right!

  3. Sorry for the confusion.

That is why I put that info in article that accompanied the video.  I just got the gun the day before the match and had no time

to measure anything. So my "off the cuff" info was less than correct!

  4. From the article that most don't read.

I was very impress by XT Pro from your video. I own a UC Pro as my carry gun.

The only thing I don't like the UC Pro is the half sized tail. Can't call it beaver tail, and it bite me all the time.

How would you feel about XT Pro tail?

It is plenty long for me.  I really like the pistol, I wish I had more time to shoot it!

It will be part of a "shoot-out" of my most accurate 9mm handguns!

Is it possible? I am sure some exceptional soul could outrun an ar... But the majority of the world probably can't. I think one of the fastest splits I have seen on the clock is about 0.10 on a semi.

I my video above with the 308...a 0.10 is captured.  Not an oddity for me, but not something I work to achieve.

As far as outrunning...probably not going to happen.  Figure that a 0.10 split is = 600 rounds per minute and the  AR15 is capable of much

a faster cycling rate.  Depending on buffer/spring weight and rates and such the AR can run past 1,000 rounds per minute..that

would require a human to trip the trigger at 0.06.

22 rimfire AR's are not the same for cyclic speed and can be outrun.

Its been 5 days, and I’ve gotten close to 20 emails. A majority have been more and more offers, the rest have been legit spam and conpiracy tier emails.

i regret signing up for this.

    Sorry about that.

I have other email addresses that I use for things I am not sure about.

  8. Bullseye Pistol and High Power rifle events you learn to hold your wobble.

"We" in the practical games must break shots at speed.

Beyond off-hand, learning what your wobble looks like when affected by contact with any range prop

is key to shooting well off of props.  You need to see those various "wobbles" and get used to them, so

you can break shots within the new pattens you are seeing.

Example, contact at the front of the rifle will have only the rear end in motion.

"C" Clamping against a vertical surface induces other wobble combinations.

Hard contact at the forend vs. hand (flesh) between that contact, changes the sight moment intensity and speed.

The point here is, dry fire and live fire every combo you can, so you can "catalog" those moments and get

comfortable with them.  Then you will be breaking shots using the approach method I talk about in the off hand video.

The difference will be comfort in knowing what each patten looks like.

Nothing worse than seeing a pattern for the first time at a Match!
