  1. All three of those pistols look good, but I really like the looks of the third pistol...especially the checkering
  2. If all members of the squad can help tape, re-set steel, etc. there will be much less work for each person overall. But unfortunately, that doesn't always happen...
  3. Sorry to hear about your friend, may he rest in peace. My condolence to his family too.
  4. That makes sense...good luck in the IDPA matches
  5. Great looking CZ pistols...nice pictures too
  6. That is big, but as long as it works - it's worth having
  7. That would be good for both Limited and Limited-10 Divisions. And you can increase the magazine capacity with extensions.
  8. All good points Carmoney! I was just impressed with the revolver shooters performance in spite of the chosen model...especially in a large match .
  9. Nice looking pistol, and great price too!
  10. It can take awhile to sort-out these types of issues.
  11. Usually the distance isn't any more than ten yards. But that doesn't mean farther distances aren't encountered.
  12. Sounds like a fun course indeed...
  13. Nice course... How far away are the targets from shootings boxes?
  14. My vote would be for the .215 front sight.
  15. Using the Hienie Slant Pros (straight eight) on one of my Glock 19 pistols, and using the standard Hienie Straight Eight on the other model 19 and model 17 pistols. I like them both, but the "slant set" are a little better for concealed carry.
  16. I had a seven year break, and later took a two year break. Although taking a break was good for me overall, getting back into matches was difficult both times. It takes awhile to recover from a long break!
  17. How much does the short rifle weigh?
  18. Greetings and salutations...welcome to the forum
  19. Perhaps the new Springfield .45 ACP is geared towards the law enforcement market...?
  20. I switched to a fiber optic front sight on my Glock 21, but I'm still not comfortable. My other Glock pistols have Hienie fixed sights, and are much better for pin-point shot placement. Maybe someday I'll be comfortable with the fiber optic...with a lot more reps.
  21. The waiting is the worst..hopefully I get rid of the cast on the 12th, of this month..issued a non intrusive brace, and a pass by the Ortho Doc to resume! Thanks! Well, that's only a few days away - which is a good thing! Good luck with the new brace
