All three of those pistols look good, but I really like the looks of the third pistol...especially the checkering

If all members of the squad can help tape, re-set steel, etc. there will be much less work for each person overall. But unfortunately, that doesn't always happen...

It can take awhile to sort-out these types of issues.

Usually the distance isn't any more than ten yards. But that doesn't mean farther distances aren't encountered.

My vote would be for the .215 front sight.

Using the Hienie Slant Pros (straight eight) on one of my Glock 19 pistols, and using the standard Hienie Straight Eight on the other model 19 and model 17 pistols. I like them both, but the "slant set" are a little better for concealed carry.

I had a seven year break, and later took a two year break. Although taking a break was good for me overall, getting back into matches was difficult both times. It takes awhile to recover from a long break!

Perhaps the new Springfield .45 ACP is geared towards the law enforcement market...?

I switched to a fiber optic front sight on my Glock 21, but I'm still not comfortable. My other Glock pistols have Hienie fixed sights, and are much better for pin-point shot placement. Maybe someday I'll be comfortable with the fiber optic...with a lot more reps.
