  1. I have been back and forth in the last few years due to bills ect having to buy and sell and went through Tanfoglio, CZ, Glock and STI for Limited guns and in order for me goes STI, CZ, Tanfoglio then Glock. I recently bought back my Edge from a good friend I mine and forgot how much I liked it. Will be using the Edge as my primary limited gun. I loved my G34 but didn't care for the G35 because it was to light for me I like a heavier gun at this point. You can't go wrong with any of them its personal preference.
  2. I have been shooting uspsa since 09 so not new but not a vet. Ammo is Atlanta Arms 1.180 oal so the ammo should be good. It functioned well in my others.
  3. That's the issue it could be alittle more accurate and not as reliable as I like.
  4. That's good to hear, I don't need a great looking gun right now just one that hits what Iam aiming at.
  5. My point is what if I already have the edge and want to mod it. I will have a custom built down the road but I would like to mod the edge until I can have something built.
  6. Just say Benny Hill or any good smith does the work on the edge with the best parts can the edge hold its own performance wise to a custom?
  7. Is there alot of difference between a modified STI Edge and a custom? Say if you were to install a aftermarket barrel, trigger, hammer, springs ect would it really be far behind a custom performance wise?
  8. The cocked and locked comment I find interesting because yes the hammer is back but there is a grip safety that has to be pushed while pulling the trigger and a manual safety. All of this has to happen for it to go bang, unlike the Glock where you just pull the trigger and it goes bang also the safety is on the trigger so when you pull the trigger off goes the safety.
  9. My vote goes out to Benny Hill at Triangle Shooting Sports.
  10. Sorry I didn't see the 9mm part lol. Also my CZ Custom 9mm has a 11lb recoil spring.
  11. The stock one is fine, but I tried the 13lb and didn't see much difference. This was with Major power ammo.
  12. Benny I will take you up on that! I will call you and plan the trip! Thanks
  13. You mean like something in Open? Iam scared to try a open gun and want one lol.
  14. If anyone else has anything I could try out that would be great also. I would love to try a 6in since I haven't shot one yet.
  15. Iam in no rush just would like to get the feel of some different ones so I know Iam making the right choice cause the wife says I only get one lol. That would be great if I could try yours out, just let me know when you are free. Thanks again
  16. If there is anyone in Houston that would let me shoot there 5 inch edge type and 6inch limited guns so I can make final decision on which one to have built. Iam on the fence on which one to order so if someone would be nice enough to let me put a few rounds through there's I would really appreciate it extremely. Thank you.
  17. Benny is the same true for .40 major power factor?
  18. Hey John, I run my guns clean and fairly wet with SG and no problems. My TS I had ran without a problem, I clean my guns after each outing. Being former Army Iam o c d about cleaning my guns.
  19. Benny why do you recommend a lighter 5 or 6 over a heavy edge type? Iam close to ordering a custom and had planned to get a edge type.
  20. When did USPSA start using boxes?
  21. For three gun I would use Dawson adjustable sights, Vanek Trigger, jager extended striker, steel guide rod, 13lb recoil spring and Grip tape. I loved this setup for my G34.
