  1. fomeister, did you ever hear back on those handles?
  2. Got a +5 on my 21" M1 and a +6 w/extended cap on my 24" M2. Got Nordic bolt handles on both. Love their stuff.
  3. X300 on both my home defense handgun and carbine.
  4. I think Kyle nailed it with this response. Along with shouldering and firing, I wouild suggest doing a couple of practice loads on each gun just to ssee if one fits you better that way as well. I think there is more time saved on loading than the splits between shots.
  5. I knew I was missing something.
  6. Here's a LINK to a news release from S&B on this. Sounds good.
  7. Field of View @ 100 yards (ft): 35.3 - 4.9 according to the CTD site. Sounds kinda low.
  8. Another 24" here. I think I like the swing better than the 21". Still need a few thousand more shells to be sure though...
  9. Here you go. Sight link Just make sure you get the right model. Those pictured in the link are the new style. If you have an HK model version, you probably have the old style.
  10. I didn't attend a match today for that very reason. I've been out of town all week and got in last night. I'd have had to pack then drive about an hour and a half to get to the club. Of course I'm torn. I'm not happy I didn't get to shoot (two missed matches in the last two weekends) but I know I'd have done about like you and not shot up to what little potential I have. Either way I'm not happy.
  11. Arizona Gun Runners orders FN accessories. I've gotten some extended chokes from them. I believe the pictures of the barrels are a little off, but they look like they carry most of tthem. AGR link
  12. There should have been some pretty good instructions included with the tube. If I remember correctly, it'll suggest to leave about 14-16 inches beyond the end of the magazine tube. that's measured with the tube installed, spring inserted, and end cap off.
  13. I was just about to ask that exact question but a good search first showed me the light. Looks like 00bullitt has the best idea: PRS QD mount link
  14. Looks like 10112. You have to redrill the holes. I may have one from a previous project. I traded the gun before I drilled the pad. Let me know if you're interested. From their site: Benelli-Tactical M-1 TACTICAL 12 Ga. (re-drill holes in LimbSaver pad) Synthetic 10112 Limbsaver Cross Reference Chart Link
  15. I just put a Limbsaver on my M1. Not a lot of difference between it and my M2 with ComforTech now.
  16. I'm a middlin' old dude who recently got hooked on practical shooting, specifically 3-gun. So, in roughly 10-12 weeks, I've acquired 9 new guns for this new hobby of mine (sounds perfectly resonable, doesn't it?) along with magazines, belts, holsters, trigger jobs (thanks Dan), shell strippers, etc. Now comes the fun part, the training. In the beginning, I didn't even know how to train (I'm only now getting a rough idea). Thanks to this website, I'm now learning where to focus some energy. I've picked two items/areas where I'm putting some time in. I've purchased Anderson's dry fire book and watched a few weak hand shotgun reload video (Rob R. is way impressive). The other item I ordered was the 3GM video. I'll try and pick up little things from those guys to reinforce or polish my practides. So, now my regimine is working through Steve's drills with sprinkles of weak hand shotgun drills thrown in, all with a fully loaded belt as if I'm competing. After my first good session, I now have a raw thumb from the shotgun's loading port (it's about to take a trip to see Benny) and I know where the calluses are going to be from drawing my pistol. I can definitely see where the repitition is going to help. I was also surprised to see how much I actually enjoyed the training. I guess its the competitive aspect of at least going against the timer. So, here's a big thanks to BE for this forum and all you guys posting good info. I'm sure that you guys will be a big help in making me better and I look forward to meeting you guys on the trail somewhere.
  17. I've searched around for that titanium handle and haven't had any luck with new or used. Maybe some enterprising new business will start producing them again. I'll stick with my Nordic until then.
  18. While the clock is running. Had a group of clays on little rebar stands. As I begin to engage, one falls off. Like a big dummy, I ask the RO should I shoot it or ignore it. What a dummy. Either shoot it on the ground or where it was on the stand and ask questions later. I'm sure that little moment of genius cost me at least 3 seconds.
  19. Here's another from an old broke Black Hawk driver: There are old pilots and bold pilots, but no old bold pilots...
  20. Send it to C-Rum. He'll make it look like this. No more problems.
  21. So, have you got a final field report and pics yet?
  22. Very nice. What is the noticeable difference? Less recoil, quicker, handle lighter loads, etc... Just curious as I'm debating sending mine to Benny for the same thing along with the loading port bevel.
  23. A couple of statements from the GG&G installation instructions: Just remove the small factory retracting handle and replace it with our superior Benelli M1 charging handle or M4 charging handle. The M4 Charging Handle is specifically manufactured for the Benelli M4 shotgun.
  24. Looks like it, according to their site: GGG-1031 Benelli Tactical Charging Handle GGG-1032 Benelli Tactical Charging Handle For Benelli M4
  25. You will still have to order the correct part #. The M4 takes a different handle than the rest of the Benellis.
