    .45 to .40

It is a Kimber Custom II. Not a top level but a diamond in the rough.
  2. I searched but didn't find what I needed. Can you change a 45acp to a 40 S & W?
  3. We NEED pictures of that q-tip sized gun to. Don't hold out on us now.
  4. App is in. First time to make this party and i'll be shooting SS. Wonder how many signed up for SS?
  5. Center of Mass for SS and BT for Production
  6. The stars are easy, a polish plate rack, that's a whole nother story. What he said. enjoy the TX star.
  7. i cannot see the majority of the posted video clips the people have posted. it is just a blank space
  8. looks like potential target practice in the future. never know about them fliers.
  9. Does anyone else own a shooting chrony and having troublewith it? I try to chono my 9mm and 45 loads but keeps giving me ERR readings. I have called company but can anyone offer any other suggestions. Driving me crazy.
  10. try this one. i have been very pleased with his holster and mags. his company is called center of mass, www.comholsters.com
  11. Congatulaions on a fine shooter. I've got one in an American Varmint .22lr and have shot .37" groups at 50yds wtih CCI and Wolf MT extra. It's been bedded and has a Burris on top. These guns will shoot. Looks like yours shoots better than mine.
  12. And that's another thing that I am working REALLY hard on is trying to break down or visualize a stage. Where to shoot from, where and when to reload, etc. I recently purchased Mike Seeklander's new training manual and hope it will help.
  13. Is that kinda like the saying "Beware of a man that owns only one gun because he probably knows how to shoot it"?
  14. I think that is what he is trying to tell me that SS is the hardest and will require one to make each reload, each shot count. Putting ones self at a disadvantage will MAKE you improve or go home with your tail tucked. Need more mags though.
  15. I am currently a C production shooter just getting off the ground. I've recently started shooting SS and a good friend of mine and Master class shooter asked me if I truly wanted to get better and of course I said I did. He told me to shoot my SS gun every chance I got and practice religiously with it. So my qyestion to you experienced shooters, is shooting SS efficiently the key to shooting any other discipline....along with dry fire, practice, etc. It makes sense to me having only eight rounds per mag. Gotta make 'em count. Did TGO say something along these lines?
  16. Does anyhone know where I can get a set of those moldable ear plugs, I thnink they come in different colors, and about how much do they cost?
  17. I need a little help guys. I,m toying with the idea of making an open gun out of my G34. I have the gun and a Burris Fast Fire reflex sight. I was going to mount the Burris on the gun for a slide rider but open to other ideas. Please tell me what else i will need and costs if you happen to know 'em. I have aCZ sp o1 shadow also. would it be a better plarform?
  18. congratulations Sam. I didn't realize ya'll were getting married. maybe Heidi should have sent us out an email. I guess Elizabeth couldn't get get that surgery to remove that lump that was hanging off her so I guess she had to married it. congrats again. greg
  19. i reload with BBI bullets loaded no longer than 1.125. don't go any longer than this and you should be ok. this is one time where shorter is better.
  20. starting new to reloading i would recommend the 550. it is user friendly and you can stay at one station, bullet seating for example, until you get it where you want it then do another station until its completed to your satisfaction. the 650 will index it around everytime you pull the handle and you can't back up. if you want to do multiple calibers, buy antoher toolhead and put other set of dies in it and just change out toolheads when you change calibers, except for maybe large to small primers. anyway i have worked with both and 550 is extremely user friendly. learn on this and then maybe step up larger later after you have become proficient. hope this makes sense
  21. me also practice reloading only
  22. is there a way to purchase video/dvd of the early day matches?
  23. i ordered a new recoil spring from wolff and cleaned out spring housing. i also bought some of those remington shells that say 1300 fps and 11/8 oz shot. the spring has not come in yet but loaded up 8 rds (extended tube) and all 8 rds cycled. still don't know if problem is cured yet. thanks for ya'lls advice.
