+ 1 I also pull the handle half way and line up the fail safe rod then I move the handle forward like as if im primering a resized case and it pops/snaps in place. At 1st it was very hard to install and or remove but a little piece of sandpaper will fix that. Good luck !

Thanks! That's exactly what they are - headboard pier cabinets from my son's old bedroom furniture. Since they're 3/4" particle board I thought they'd make good cabinets for powder and primers. Tom Lol, thanks for the idea Tom, mine are still in the garage. Time to put them bad boys to use..

I also thought it might be that I seated my primer sideways, and or I didn't make a complete stroke when seating the primer so it might have been not flushed properly when I pushed forward to prime the brass it did feel hard like resistance tho'

When I first started loading for my Glk 27 I had a similar issue, I was loading 180grhp-xtp @ 1.135 using mixed brass.. I was shooting and my lastfew2 rounds acted up. 2 rounds chambered but shortened my c.o.l 1.118, I pulled em got the t crimp dialed in and re used the brass and remembered they was federal and they did cycle but the last round made a thud followed by a wired cycle found the bullet a few yarda and the primer (cci) was in my mag! I too said wtf!

I have been loading for 2 years and I been using CCI AND WINCHESTER..I have used CCI the most but I'll be using winchester to try because I recently had about 14 misfires with cci.. By the way is it me or is the price of primers going up again?

I didnt have the time to shoot much last year but when I did it was about 7k for sure between 5 caliber's! Maybe more I did shoot in a few IDPA comps and practice a few times last year.. I still havnt found a pet load I like and I did get a new AR so it should be more this year! Have fun and be safe peeps...

So what do you all do with your dillon dies(to those who use or have used dillon dies) can they be traded back to Dillon pre used as store credit?
