Yeah, some of the terms used around here can be confusing to new shooter, heck sometimes us older guys forget what they mean too. lol As for Open, under the USPSA rules it can be any gun with a bullet diameter 9mm/0.355 or greater and a magazine no longer than 170mm. Other than that pretty much anything is legal. But the popular deffinition is a gun with a compinsated barrel, red dot or other type of optics, high capacity magazines. Something like this... Joe W. Maybe your press might be flexing, is it bolted down properly and your bench too?

Thanks fellas, good info. I see some words being said and don't com pr en de the lingo, what do you mean by lot to lot? Also what does "open. Gun" mean? And thanks for keeping us newbe's up to par!

Welcome to the forum DualShock, I'm new to re loading and not yet got into the shooting sport, but from what I hear from others is you would need 5 magazines at least and if you scroll down to I for get what thread but find and click on "GLOCK" and should give you some better help! How far are you from Monsferdville Ky? I'm not sure if I spelled it right but my family has land and when I do get into the sport I wanna see how far or if any clubs are out there! And again welcome to the forum...

Half the battle!??? Whow... Y haven't you sent your press in? Ya I know I wouldn't know what to do with my time neither, probably pull out the yarn and needle with the misses, or buy a second press and send out the one that might need repairs! Doesn't Dillon have a "where you send it in and they would clean it up and oil it back to par ?" How long have you had your 550 and how long has it been doing this? I just ordered my dies for my .40 cal's and just wondering what I might come across when I start loading!
