  1. The first one worked great, we ran 200 rounds through it with no problems at all. We should have a batch ready for the web site this week.
  2. We have some in the shop that we're working on now, I figured we'd give it a shot and see what happens. We should be finished the first of the week and I'll let you know. Thanks, Kenny
  3. The stainless steel guide rod weighs 273.1 grains (0.62 oz.) and the tungsten weighs 508.8 grains (1.16 oz).
  4. As much as I hate to say it try E-bay for small quantities of Titanium, I've seen bar stock on there relatively cheap. Say, we could write a program and machine the clip and 6 integral case from bar stock, I wonder if Dillon could make a 650 conversion for it.....
  5. Blingage...... 1.6 oz. for the aluminum and 5.0 oz. for the brass.
  6. If so, is it any easier/faster than a calculator and a MS Word table? I'd like to see something that would generate an HTML page when it's finished.
  7. The optic mounts are available.
  8. I called them last year and asked if they were working on one and was told they had never heard of an M&P. I hope that's changed by now.
  9. 120 pf if a wired stop plate is used, if not, it is recommended 750 fps minimum but there is no requirement.
  10. I just ran across several cans of this and has worked great in the past but it's been so long I can't find my load data. I want to try it with a 185 gr. plated bullet. Any help?
  11. That baby's cookin' now, we've been burnin' stuff for the last two days trying to get it all done before it quits again! As for the aggregate awards, I had some other ideas but most of them were only legal in Nevada......
  12. Blade Tech has their Revolution double mag pouch available for the M&P with the stingray loop for $17.95 or the Tek Lok loop for $20.95.
  13. The Holiday Inn Express in Sebring is full. Super 8 in Lake Wales has rooms, 2 dbl. beds, non smoking, $66 I found another one that the owner (American btw, if it matters, it did to me) says it's 8 miles from Frank's place, it's on the same hwy I think (27?), their web site is Reeds Motel. They have a few rooms left. It looked nice from the pictures on the web site and was remodeled last year, we'll see. $89 for two people, 2 dbl beds, non smoking.
  14. LPA has a new fiber optic rear sight available now.
  15. A Smith single stack? Who owns one of them? Oh, me.....am I going to get stuck in a Limited match with 8 round mags?? Eric, will the SS rules be the USPSA version or will my S&W 945 be ok? WOW....only L-10 has sandbaggers? Now that's a handy piece of information to have.
  16. We wanted to leave it so it could be removed and returned to factory condition, we had considered making a new retainer screw but it would be a lot of work and it whould be steel so it would probably wear out the notch inside the frame. Even the slightest pressure on the sides of the grip at the bottom is not an option, it has to be slightly loose. We found this out when we were working on Ernest Langdon's 45 magwell, the slightest pressure will cause the magazine to bind and not drop free.
  17. Yes, if there's a better (or different) way I'd love to hear it.
  18. The only way we could come up with to attach it is to mill the sides off the grip retainer and drill a pin hole through the magwell and the plastic grip retainer and use a steel pin. I don't like it but it does work, Ernest Langdon used a prototype on his M&P 45 at the IDPA Nationals that was set up the same way and it worked fine. Based on feedback from Ernest we are going to make a minor change but as far as attaching it we haven't come up with anything different yet. If any of you have some ideas on it I'd love to hear them. The production version will fit better to match the frame.
  19. I thought this was an interesting question so here's my thoughts.....As a sponsor I wouldn't have a problem with one of my shooters wearing the team shirt but if I helped get them there I would appreciate at least a little exposure. I think that a lot of the companies involved in the action pistol shooting sports aren't big enough to have a staff of marketing people and we need any exposure we can get so why not put the individual shooters sponsors on the team shirts? Instead of trying to design a shirt to work with the different logo colors why not pick a color that looks good with the shirt design and make all the logos the same color? You could do a red, white and blue shirt and make all the logos gray or something that looks nice with the shirt but doesn't overpower it.
  20. We went a couple weeks ago and got a few small ones but we went north toward Big Grassy, the evening t'storms sent us packing before we wanted to. We put a few in the freezer but not what we wanted.
  21. Dude, you missed a fun match (what little I shot of it, I think my attempt at Open was the entertainment portion of the match....and no extra charge!) but more important would be.....just where might this scalloping be taking place?
  22. I was told this powder was discontinued but I just ran across a supply of it and I'm wondering if I can use it in a 38 Super Open gun, any thoughts?
