  1. Suarez said their is not room on the M&p for a deltapoint pro. Which is incorrect. ATEi will mill the slide and there is still room for a glock dove tail in the rear.
  2. I have checked into milling my m&p slide for a delta point pro. The milling removes the factory dove tail. A glock dove tail can be cut behind the milled section for suppressor sights. I don't want to co witness. But can I go back to some type or regular iron sights like warren. Regular height. If I did that then it looks like they would hang off the back of the gun.
  3. With the sight sitting that high is there any reason to buy a core. Why not just use a dove tail mount on a regular M&p?
  4. I am in California so a core is out. I put an add in the classifieds here looking to buy just a core slide but have had no response. I could dove tail mount something but I don't like the idea of ithe optic being so high. I wanted to shoot my production M&p at the same match and have the index be close.
  5. I was going to mill one of my M&P slides for an optic. This may be a stupid question but is carry optics a permanent division? I don't want to put money into a gun and then find out that they have decided there is not enough interest and then scrap the division. How much advantage is shooting a heavier cz vs an M&P?
  6. I looked for hours yesterday trying to find pictures like those. Thanks trgt. I heard the vortex viper sit even lower to the slide than the venom. Have you seen that one? Which is your favorite? I can get a very lightly used delta point 7.5. Not pro. It looks to sit very low. I am not so shire about the 7.5 triangle. I have heard that it seems to be bigger than most other optics.
  7. I think I will start by trying a dove tail mounted sight. I was thinking of the burris fastfire or the vortex viper. Anyone have a side to side comparison?
  8. I have a Smith & Wesson M&p pro. I want to get the slide mild for a mini red dot to shoot carry optics. Any suggestion on where to get the slide milled? Do I have to mil it for a specific site or do any of these places also make adapter plates if I want to switch sites? I like the durability of the RMR sites but they are very pricey. If there are not others that will last on the slide mount that may be my only choice. Has anyone had any luck with the Romeo one or the Romeo three? Or any other suggestions. Is there any reason to cowitness? In the long run would learning to shoot the mini red dot without a cowitness be faster?
  9.  I know this is an old post. But did you ever find a 40 slide. I have a 40 long slide pro. It has waren tactical sights. If you have not found one yet I may be interested in trading for your 5 inch core slide.

I can't register a core in California. Slide doesn't matter. I would be interested in trading or buying a core slide.

Would a trade and money on my end work

  10. I am very interested. I have  an m&p 40 pro but my 14 year old son wants to shoot. This would be great for production.

    Jr shooter discount?

  11. In stock at midsouthshooters. Just picked up 8 lbs
  12. I shot the pa and the strike eagle side by side. Both work well. I like the retical on the strike eagle better. Shot a 3 gun match the day after I got the srike eagle. Shot out the 300 yards with out any issues.
  13. Why not just order another color from bayou? green, red or gold
  14. I will make you all feel better. I have 7 kids. The oldest is 15 and can't wait to drive and the youngest is 2. Free time? I shoot production and it is always fun when the fat guy with 7 kids beats the young guys w stis. It's a no loose situation. We are going to a jr pheasant hunt in two weeks. Wouldn't trade it for anything.
  15. I am guessing most of you reload. As I am not set up to reload 223, where is the best place to buy this heavier ammo?
  16. Just finished building an ar with a stretch 16 barrel. Shot my first 3gun match two weeks ago and had a ton of fun. Targets went out to 300 yards. I hit them all without many misses using 55 gr american eagle ammo. The wind was 7-10 mph. Usually the wind is a lot stronger and blows from left to right. For days when it gets really windy would it help to go w a heavier bullet? I was looking at 69 or 77 grain Sierra match kings that are remanufactured by blackhills gold. I do not reload 223 so I looking for some suggestions. Thanks
  17. Had a 12Q that fell off the bed and broke the corner off one of the clips. Contacted Invictus and asked if there was a way to get a replacement part before this weekend. He emailed back and said that he just needed a picture of the broken piece so he knew what to send me. After I sent him a picture, he sent me a response with the tracking number of the package in about 10 minutes. Should be here on Friday!
  18. I have pro ears. Pro Tac gold. I have tried many and I like these better than any I have tried.
  19. I am going to go with the strike eagle. I am going to sight it in this sat. If the scope shows up on Friday. The other guy I am going with just got a primary arms 1-6. Should be interesting to compare the two.
  20. Not sure if it's in your price range but Burris has some decent 1-6x models as well. Burris offers a 1.5-6, I don't think they have any 1-6. They do have a very nice 1-5.
  21. Been shooting pistols for years but I am new to 3 gun. I was looking at the mtac 1-4, primary arms 1-6 or the strike eagle1-6- whenever that will be available. We have one stage that shoots 10" plates out to 300-340 yards at every match. The other stages are in the bays and go up to 50 yards.
  22. Jerry miculek comp. great price and work better than some costing twice as much.
