  1. No, I'm just shocked you can fire LAX reloads, but with 10 pounds double action, that makes sense. I no longer have light strikes at 6 pounds, but now I use Federal Small Pistol Primers.
  2. It's your gun stock? My trigger is at six pounds double action. Down from twelve
  3. I think the only die short enough would be a Lee .38 Short Colt.
  4. I'm loading both 9mm and .38 Short Colt on Lee 9mm dies. The only difference is I size the .38 Short Colt with a Dillon .38/.357 sizing die.
  5. Agreed. I've loaded thousands of .38 Short Colt with a 160gr bayou bullet without any issue.
  6. Years ago I was on a shotgun forum, and there was a user named jm plaxco (mine is always Ysr_racer or ysrracer) We both shot Krieghoff shotguns, so I tried to answer his question. I pm'd him, and it was him. Somebody replied to him that "he obviously didn't know anything about shooting competition". I just laughed. RIP JMP.

  9. I had to fit mine. A few minutes on a wet stone.
  10. Since I never shoot with a scope, bench or sand bags, umm, no.
  11. My 929 barrel slugged at .357. I've shot .355 jacketed, .356 jacketed, .356 coated, .358 plated and .358 coated. All of them group about four inches at 25 yards with with me shooting the gun double action, two hands, standing. YMMV
  12. When I shot .38 short colt in my 929 they were so flared out at the bottom, I couldn't resize them with .38/.357 Lee dies. YMMV
  13. My 929 and 627 barrels both slugged at .357.
  14. I guess I don't get doing a 9mm conversion on a .38/.357 revolver. I have a 929 and couldn't get it to run with factory ammo. I had tons of light hits and bullet creep. The only solution was for me to re seat all the primers and re crimp everything. At that point I figured I might as just run my 627 and load .38 Short Colt (I load on a Dillon 750 with a bullet feeder and a case feeder). So what are you guys trying to accomplish by heaving a .38/.357 re chambered to 9mm?
  15. I wonder if that would work on a new Corvette?
  16. Anybody / any place that doesn't take Credit Cards is a scam.
  17. No such thing. Many answers to the same question.
  18. The Lee U die is stamped with a ? 1. X 2. Y 3. Z 4. U (It's number 4)
  19. A heavier bullet resists moving more than a light one. To me, this means that a heavier bullet doesn't creep as much as a lighter bullet? Do I have that correct? With equal hold, a heavy bullet will be more likely to have the problem, Here you say, a heavy bullet will be more likely to have the problem. Is the problem that the bullet creeps? So which is it? Does a heavier bullet resist creeping more than a light one? Or is a heavy bullet more likely to have the problem (bullet creep)?
  20. Then why With equal hold, a heavy bullet will be more likely to have the problem,
  21. You said: A heavier bullet resists moving more than a light one. So your first statement says a heavier bullet isn't going to creep out as much as a light one. With equal hold, a heavy bullet will be more likely to have the problem, But then your second statement says a heavy bullet is more likely to have the problem. Aren't those opposite statements?
