I pulled a certificate for a custom Glockworx 34 slide off a prize table. I don't really have a need for a limited minor gun and was told that they would be willing to swap it for a 34 slide that was cut for a dot. I could live with making an open top end to play around with but obviously I don't see many open 34's around. Just wondering if there was a reason why. I would want to shoot major loads with it if I went this route. Thoughts?

If I remember correctly it is a few miles NE of fayette. I stayed in Boonville last year. I think it might have been a little closer than staying in Columbia, but there is more stuff to eat and do in Columbia.

What do you guys think about the lifters on them? Are they going to be thumb traps?

I have one, had it for roughly a year. It is nice for saving space on the belt. It does stick out a ways from the body and throws the weight out there. I would recommend put a belt keeper on both sides of it. I did my first "hula" dance at one of the first matches with it on a CR speed belt with no keepers. Luckily my pistol was in my hand when it happened.
