  1. Sorry - took a trip to Italy to visit Beretta and have been trying to catch up ... I'm very happy with the way these things have turned out: Sight is, apparently, going to go into production at Wilson Combat. I don't think they've setup a SKU for the item as of yet. I'll chime back when I know more.
  2. It is really nice! Make sure to ask for the WC trigger bar - it just last longer... "Bucket" (aka Jared) does an amazing job...
  3. Kinda like this proposed change... Makes the "risk" element a little more interesting...
  4. I have not needed to fit a WC sight as of yet... YMMV, tho (as it did?)
  5. Working on T&Eing a new rear sight from Wilson Combat now... With Nationals coming fast, and work kicking my ass, I don't have time to take detailed pictures, etc... The notch is a .150" wide, square. Various heights (.270, .290, .305) for regulating the various slide types.
  6. Working on a rear sight now...
  7. 11#... I've gone as light as 9# in a non-railed gun... (Minor PF ammo, tho)
  8. "lets assume IPSC/USPSA production"... So... if the sky was the limit on making a production 92 with, say, a barrel bushing and steel frame and a bigger mag well, you'd still say the WC BrigTac would be your preference?
  9. If you could build a competition model 92, what would it look like? Steel frame? Rail? Generous magwell? Bushing? Brigadier slide with Front&rear cocking serrations? G-lever? What kinda sights? Since we're talking about a 9mm, assume it is tailored toward IPSC/USPSA production.
  10. I'm under the assumption, that yes, it is good to go: 1.) WC is a custom shop that is NROI approved (the WC BrigTac pistol, specifically) 2.) The part is not externally different than the stock pc.
  11. I have the MGW 92 sight pusher. It is pretty good, but you have trouble with Kensight-style sights (doesn't fit)... I think MGW makes a Universal took that you buys specific inserts for - I've heard that version is pretty awesome. I also have the B&J 500: It is good for the tight front sights on Brig slides, is adjustable, but, is a PITA to use, actually.
  12. I've run my Berettas in IDPA... Hell, I carry a Beretta most of the time I carry. (Kahr PM9 the other times, like when it is hot out)
  13. There is a lot of confusion regarding WC trigger bar fitting - this came up in a different forum a while ago. Please check it out there. I'll add that if you don't feel comfortable, send it to WC and they'll do a good job! A few key points: Most people only need to mess with the overtravel "nub". Do all the testing with the slide back on! When fitting, re-assemble with the slide on; the way the slide rides changes the trigger bar engagement subtly. The arc is the vertical face. Don't touch this if you really don't need to...
  14. If the spring wasn't NIB, consider it worn out... Also - if this is a comp-only pistol, try a lighter spring from WC too... Might work nice.
  15. 6000 rounds? I dunno... My 12# spring lasted considerably longer... It wore out at ~9K. But, it is also a 12# spring...
  16. Some decent stuff in there - cheaper than ordering some crap pc-by-pc... https://www.cdnnsports.com/beretta-92-96-m9-factory-parts-kit-24-piece.html
  17. I wonder if one of the Kensight's would work... http://stores.kensight.com/rear/
  18. So the book gets into the concept of Deliberate Practice, which is a fairly specific term. Applying it to shooting is challenging - I'd like to put all the cliff notes out there for you, but lemme turn it around for a sec: Moto, do you practice? If so, what, specifically, do you do?
