  1. Sooo, all of the folks who are using the adjustable rear with a .265" tall front are just making it up? Okay.
  2. Yet another reason I'm glad I switched to this platform from Glocks. Much more freedom in loading.
  3. What OAL are you guys loading your ammo to for your M&P 9 Pros? I am currently loading my 147gr loads to 1.135". However, I had a bunch of minor ammo for my open gun along with me at the range, loaded to 1.170", and decided to try it in the M&P. Wouldn't you know, it fit the mags fine and functioned perfectly. I never would have guessed ammo that long would have functioned in the M&P . . .
  4. Thanks guys. I'll try Titegroup and WSF since I have both on hand.
  5. Anyone tried HS-6 for 9mm minor? I'm thinking of trying it under a 124gr CMJ for production from a S&W M&P 9 Pro.
  6. I think it's an illegal external modification since it changes the profile of the gun away from the factory profile. I could be wrong, though.
  7. I'll be at WPA but I'd like to have it taken care of before then if it needs work. I cleaned the extractor hook as well as I could last night. I'm going to do some more shooting to see if the problem resolves. If not, I'll send her your way. You'd just need the top end, right?
  8. Man I wish I would have known my gun was going to give me issues earlier, I would have just given you the top end at VA/MD. I'll be in touch.
  9. At the range yesterday I had 4-5 failure to extract malfunctions that lead to double feed jams. I fired 200 rounds in total. My first thought, of course, was to remove and clean the extractor. However, it looks like the extractor isn't easily removable for cleaning? Any advice?
  10. Ummm, what the f#^%? The woman littered, yes. It was inconsiderate, sure. But do you actually think that gives you the right to vandalize her vehicle? Unreal.
  11. . . . . the original post made it fairly clear that I'm looking for a vertical mount, not a sideways mount. The gun has a sideways mount on it now. I'm going back to a vertical mount.
  12. End of the season? Why is the end of your season so early?
  13. Looks like I lucked into some cash this year. Gotta love Lewis class!
  14. So at this point I'm thinking of trying the DAA 3-in-1 mount. It looks nice, and the fold out "wing" for table starts looks promising. Anyone have one?
  15. Very good point Chris on not "needing" a slide racker. My gun runs 100% as well.
  16. I'm looking suggestions for a vertical C-More mount that fits a couple of criteria for me: 1. Sits fairly low close to the slide. I'm not sure how much lower one is than the next, but I know a few of them have to be lower than the STI mount. 2. I'd like to find the mount that sits the furthest forward on the gun. My gun doesn't have a slide racker and can't have one added very easily (too much material removed from the slide to add a dovetail) so I need to be able to easily get a hold of the rear slide serrations. 3. A mount with a built in blast shield would be nice. Any of the mounts on the market fit all three of these? On a side note, please don't turn this into a vertical vs sideways mount thread. We already have plenty of those threads. I'm looking for a traditional vertical mount.
  17. I'm not sure what the question is . . but, congrats. It's very rare for someone who's only shooting experience is plinking with a .22 to jump into USPSA and make A class from the get-go. I joined USPSA in January of 2010 and am still busting my a#% trying to make A. You're clearly shooting classifiers well. How are you doing on field courses?
  18. I loaded up a batch using 3.2gr of Solo 1000 under a 147gr Berry's Bullet at 1.135" OAL. I didn't have a chance to chrono it and there was a surprise chrono set up at a local match (I normally shoot open - was shooting production for fun). I chrono'd at 125.1 I'll be bumping it up to 3.4gr!!!
  19. Jeremy, I'm using a Bladetech DOH with my 9 Pro. I love it.
  20. What a great, well run match. Fun stages, great RO's, no complaints. Well, except for the heat. I'm pretty disappointed with my performance overall, but I still had a lot of fun.
  21. Thanks guys. I actually got a road bike from a local bike shop last year, but didn't get to put many miles on it due to weather. I'm hoping once this string of rainy days breaks, I can get out more. I'm planning on combining cycling with P90X. I need to search for some flat roads. Lots of hills around here, which I'm not really ready for. I'd love a nice stretch of flat road to keep a constant spin going.
  22. I'll be there, shooting Saturday PM. Welcome!
