  1. Thanks very much for that Doug, I'll look at another weekend for it, this is why I posted here, looking for feedback from all the shooters
  2. Thanks for the replies my friends, looks like this will be a go. Must confirm the dates with the match owner and will gets apps done soon. Please remember, this is open to ALL Divisions, but I really wanted those with 6 and 8 shot revos to be able to shoot the same match with each gun. And like mentioned above, you can shoot just one match, or both indifferent Divisions, even the same Division if you want. These will be totally independent matches from an Admin standpoint. How many times have we shot a few stages and said after "range is clear" that "man, I should have shot that this way, or that way" now's your chance!!
  3. Will do, thanks for the reply, the matches will be held at "The Range" in Oxford, NC about 20 miles North of Raleigh. Plenty of hotels within 3-4 miles of the range, great facility, the home of "The Carolina Cup" and they held IDPA Nationals there in 2012.
  4. With all the talk about 8 shot revolver, I thought I would try something. How 'bout back to back Level 2 matches, shoot 6 in one 8 in the other. The match will be the same, like SS and REVO Nats, but we can shoot it with both 6 and 8 shot revolvers. Of course the match will be open to all USPSA Divisions, but I would love to see how many REVO guys and girls would like to see the obvious difference in Hit Factors over the match. Right now, I have the range with more than ample bays for a quality 10 Stage match, with chrono. Please give me an idea on how many REVO shooters would be interested, as well as everyone else, and I'll get stages submitted for approval. Right now the plan is for the last weekend in April 2014 Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th, with Staff shooting on Friday the 25th. If there is enough interest, this will happen, thanks for reading and looking forward to feedback, John Z.
  5. Many thanks to "Trigger talk TV" for this great video, please enjoy it!! https://triggertalk.tv/
  6. off to work the last day of the match, great match this year, thanks to everyone that has a hand in it
  7. I trim mine down to .800" and use TiteGroup behind Berry's 158 TMJ. I run 4.0 grs which gives me around a 142 PF, more than needed for minor, but very accurate load in 4" 686. When using home cast 158 lrn, I run 3.6 TiteGroup for a 132 PF, good luck. I also find that FED and REM brass works best with my TK moonclips, Win not so much
  8. Great match, thanks to Peter and all the staff, was worth the LONG trip from NC (I85 needs a "going to a match" restricted lane) will be back next year
  9. Thanks to my lovely wife, the link is here

  12. Would love to, but my computer skills are a tad lacking, buddy that is smarter than me is coming by tomorrow, I'll see if he can do it. There are 5 new ones, CM13-01 thru CM-13-05
  13. Thanks, I figured it to be like that. I will mail in the scores to HQ so they can get entered. Doing an intro to USPSA class tomorrow at another new range, might just use some of the older classifiers so folks can see how well they did, and how they compare in class. We are trying to get more new shooters into the sport.
  14. Hey Bill, we just started a new club, NC29, and they have a May 2013 date on the sheets. they are in the book, but not on the website yet. I entered them as a classifier stage on the scoring program, but it did not recognize them yet, that's why I was wondering if anyone else has shot them yet, thanks for your reply, John

  16. Anyone have any scores for the 5 new one's, CM13-01- CM13-05??? Ran CM13-04 at our first practice match with only 6 shooters (small match to make sure the scoring program worked)
  17. I use a home cast 195 lrn in .910" brass
  18. The "T ball" of the shooting sports, everyone is even and we all can get a trophy for showing up in our vests!!!!
  19. North Carolina 2013 ZSA Championship, you can shoot revo in "6" or "8" division (7 shot will shoot in 8) Cliff will be shooting in "8" and most of us mere mortals will shoot in "6", match is in Late September, join us
  20. Yes, Yes it is. As much as I hated picking up brass before, after shooting the wheel for the last couple months, I now just try to leave the auto brass on the ground and sneak off the range..... Next to cleaning guns or picking up the house after myself, I hate brass pickup more than anything!!! Another thing, when I step on one I cry. If it were a magazine I wouldn't even miss a step to avoid one. Now I look down before I even move after I shoot to make sure I don't bend one of those fragile little wonders. Well said, they need to add a 5 minute segment to the USPSA RO class, RO's and those keeping score, PLEASE do not step on moonclips!!!
  21. 4" 686 stoked with .38 Zombie loads, 158 Berrys TMJ roundnose making a 138ish minor PF. Backup will be the trusty 4" 625 JM loaded to minor as well. Time to get nutin but "Alphas" !!
