  1. Last year was my first time at that match, GREAT match, will be there again this year
  2. you are right, I was wrong, I took it down
  3. It would affect less people to get rid of revolver division then the classifiers Revolver shooters wanted to add 8 shots, let them deal with the mess they have created. Not all revolver shooters wanted it. The rules have been changed, now they need to make sure it works. Other wise they should have left well enough alone. Exactly, not all REVO shooters wanted it, Jerry did, and he got it, and surprise surprise, he has a new gun out by S&W made JUST FOR THIS, what an amazing coincidence!! Sorry guys, hate me for it, but someone had to say what many are thinking. I'm all about Capitalism, but this was just a stupid move that never had to be done. We REVO guys, and gals, never bothered anyone, we pay our fees, work matches, RO, and everything else. Revolvers are the ONLY guns that can be legally shot in 5 of the 6 Divisions in USPSA (can't in SS) so to say there was no where to shoot a 7 or 8 shot revo is pure BS. Just my humble opinion, be SAFE, have FUN and support all shooters. John, you've been spending too much time listening to Cliff! Despite what you guys think, Jerry didn't have a whole lot to do with the rule change. You were sitting there when Cliff bet me the dollar--who was right about that? ;-) Seriously, it's a done deal now, and most of us think it was a really good move! We will soon know if the rule change is enough to save a dying division. None of this classifier discussion matters if there are only a tiny handful of shooters who bother to shoot the wheels. Hopefully we will see a nice increase in participation. That is....what you guys....want.....isn't it? Yup, you know it's my job to keep feathers rustled!!! Hope you are well my REVO Brother, I owe you a cigar or 2. Shoot our Back-2-Back level 2 matches in April
  4. We are doing Back-2-Back Level 2 Matches in April. 1st Match will be on Saturday the 26th and 2nd will be Sunday the 27th. They will be 2 separate matches, but will be identical, so you can really see the difference between 6 shot and 8 shot guns. Shoot the EXACT same match with each gun and compare for yourself. My gut tells me that hit factors will be around 8-10% higher with the 8 shot guns, regardless of skill level. These matches are open to ALL Divisions to come play. Some are showing an interest to go SS Minor and then Major, or run Prod then fill the mags the next day and go Lim Minor. Registration is now open on Match Signup. Be SAFE and have FUN!!

  6. I wanted to keep the price as low as we could. Those of you that set up and run matches, know what it costs. Here at ZSA-USPSA we are really trying to keep everything about you the SHOOTER, good stages, good people, and we strive to keep it SAFE while you all have FUN, back to basics for us as best we can. We really hope this Back-2-Back concept works well, and we'd like to make it a once a year event. That will only happen if we get a good turnout, so let's fill every slot!!! I'll be working hard over the next few weeks to try to beg, borrow and steal whatever I can from the Industry to give away on a prize table, no promises, but I will give it my all. Thanks to everyone for your support of ZSA over the last 3 years, and now help us push USPSA as well.
  7. We are now up on MatchSignUp site, thanks Ken K. for making that happen, and to Jay for the great way for shooters to sign up for matches!! Hope this fills up QUICK!!!
  8. We should have the registration ready VERY SOON on matchsignup site, I tried, but me and computers don't get along, so Ken K. is working on it for me.
  9. Setting up today, this will be a very cool 245 round 1 stage 18 minute match!!! With 4 GUNS!!!
  10. We should have a few walk up slots open, no guarantee when you will get a slot, but the website has the list. If you are in the area this weekend, and need something really cool to do, please check this match out, thanks and a Happy and SAFE New Year to all, John Z.http://zombieshootersassociation.com/2014-tower-challenge-match/
  11. That is actually a pretty cool thing, will be signing up as soon as it opens
  12. Hate to do it guys, waited 'till we had the latest forecast, tomorrow's match will be postponed to our regular USPSA date, 2nd Sunday at ENC, next one will be the 12th of Jan and we WILL RUN the classifier match then, why can't it rain during the week!!!
  13. Weather looks good for Sunday, end the year by getting classed in another Division, or try to move up in your favorite Division, start 2014 a class higher!!!
  14. My pleasure Brother, I really think this will be a great concept for shooters, above all else, I know we will have a SAFE and FUN time, in the end, that's what it's all about, Merry Christmas to anyone seeing the post, John Z.
  15. Just secured the Range Master for these matches, one of the best in the business, thanks Bill!!! Will be needing 18 USPSA Certified RO's , who will shoot both matches free by working both matches. Please let me know how many would be interested in RO'ing, thanks and a very Merry Christmas to all
  16. heading to The Range in Oxford, NC to finalize some stage plans today, hopefully have all stages done very soon and will post here and our website.
  17. I was thinking about going Open with the 8 shot and a dot myself, how cool would it be to step to the line on a squad with all open shooters, and at Make ready, turn on and adjust the dot on every target we can see, the methodically drop everyone of the 8 moonclips on our belt in and out of the cylinder, just like the real open guys do!!!Just being annoying!!!!
  18. Cool, after that shoot our Back-to-Back Level 2 matches in April, revo and open
  19. Sorry guys, registration is at 10 AM, match starts at 11AM, cost for this match is $25.00 (due to additional fees to HQ for 6 classifiers) our regular monthly USPSA matches at ENC ( 2nd Sunday) are $20.00 and will be 6 stages including 1 regular classifier stage.
  20. SC Sectional is 30-31 May. It was just announced this morning. Saw that, I'm in, love that match every year
