  1. ICORE match next Saturday at Caswell Ranch is a great place to get ready for REVO squad at Sir Walter and Pitt County USPSA matches, hint, hint
  2. OK, you have made the first step, you admitted you have a problem, now all you have to do is send me one or 2 of the offending revos, and I will care for them, until you get your life back on track, I'm here to help
  3. Dean, I'll get my application and Mel's to you next Saturday at the regular ICORE match. Joe Hester has been enjoying revo and Scott should shoot as well. I'll do my best to get some more, John
  4. Expecting to see #1 place held by Mr. Buckland, don't let Josh get it, he's not old enough yet !!! Good luck on a great turnout for the match
  5. Welcome, lots of great places to shoot in NC, hope to see you at a match sometime, check out NC SEction website for all USPSA matches and we also have ICORE in Caswell County, if you shoot revo, and the IDPA website can fill you in on their matches
  6. Have plenty of film ready Jack, our fearless leader should not let his loyal minions down !!! How many revos do we have?
  7. Not meant to be an insult Duane, and apologies to any that may have been offended by my personal comments, the big thing here is what other's have stated, the SO interpretation of "round dumping" can be very subjective. With much of the objective of IDPA matches and stages to be "real life" scenarios, why would we carry a pistol that can hold 15-19 rounds in it with only 10? Just my opinion, not that of this forum or it's sponsers! Off to an IDPA match now, NO PROCEDURALS today, at least that's my plan !!
  8. This might not go well with some hard core IDPA shooters, but while we still have First Amendment Rights, here goes, I shoot the stage as I see best, not always what the rule book agrees with, hence my collection of procedurals, but I'm sorry, give me 3 BS seconds over dropping a partial moonclip on the deck and getting my gun back in action quickly, and I'm happy with that. I shoot all the pistol sports and when it comes to IDPA and some of the round dump/reload rules, I do what I think is best and take the procedurals, which don't really matter to me.
  9. We had 7, that's right 7, revos today, congrats to Dan C. from Va. for the well deserved match win, and as always, thanks to Martin and all his staff for giving us yet another GREAT USPSA match to enjoy
  10. Welcome Rob, we have alot of great matches in the area, hope to see you on the range sometime
  11. I run a 4" 625, can use it in USPSA/ICORE and IDPA, using the same gun and load in all 3 games I feel helps
  12. I agree with chirpy, don't risk it
  13. Welcome to revo world, simple to learn 6 bangs, click, reload, repeat, repeat, repeat, wake up rest of squad and count all your "Alpha" hits !!! Have fun
  14. Just say the word Seth, you can borrow a full set up, revo/ holster/ speedloaders/ ammo, lawn chair to sit in during reload, and Gatorade half way down the field course for you to re-energize !!
  15. Thanks for the rule book offer Joe, but no need for it. When I unload and show clear, all I need to do is look over my shoulder and count the fingers that you guys are holding up,,, if no fingers, I shot it the slow boring way, or did it too fast for you to catch it !!
  16. Breaking the rules just sounds so mean and harsh,,, I look at it as alternative ways to shoot the stage, letting my creative side come out, if you will. Grand Master Procedural Getter,,, that I like !!!! Is there a hat pin or tee-shirt that comes with the title?
  17. Looks like this new "Glock Chick" is hooked, I can remember back when it was shoot 6 go "click" reload and scare the steel !!! Keep up the great work
  18. Wish I could help, if you find something, please let us know, I've been thinking the same thing about my 625
  19. Word on the street is that a local IDPA shooter/procedural giver ( read SO) is going to come out and shoot 4 revo classifier stages, if an IDPA shooter is coming it will be nice to have him, lets all be nice and not laugh as he tries to find cover to reload behind!!!
  20. Thanks but I have been shooting it for some time and have seen a fair amount bad calls, and yes a clean up of the rules would be nice. Mr. Bell, you have my vote as next Pres. of IDPA,,, short- to the point- no BS,,,, In my opinion that is what this GAME needs, now I must get my stuff ready to go to a match and earn at least 1 procedural for the day
  21. Next Saturday is a classifier match, great time to dust off the old revolver and see how you do !!!
