  1. I am sure many know that an unfortunate part of big match self-squadding is re-adjusting of the squads if the match isn't full so that the match runs as efficiently as possible. It looks like they staggered the squads to facilitate this.
  2. Springfield Armory Loaded Target is another consideration.
  3. Don't know. You can't sell them here yet, but I have seen people wanting these for their Para several times over the last few years. There appear to be plenty of mag bodies available at places like Shooter Connection.
  4. If you feel comfortable with doing the reloads I would go ahead with the single stack. (You do more reloads in places that make it somewhat easier to break the 180 with a single stack than with equipment that extra rounds in divisions like Limited give you.) That seems to be a common issue with people new to the sport. It took me a while to really become conscious of the 180 while reloading. I started out with very little gun-handling experience. You may be just fine. Some people are. In any case, have fun & be safe! I hope to see you at Chilli sometime!
  5. Welcome! Other people may have other opinions, but this is what I would do. I would not use the revolver. I would join USPSA & see if you get a Safariland Certificate. If so, I would buy a holster for the SR9 or FNX & use that for now. I would buy some cheap Uncle Mike's mag pouches for double-stack mags. I would load up your mags to full capacity, sign up in Limited shooting minor & shoot some matches very slowly & carefully. After you see how things work I would then decide what division & gun you want to shoot in. I would probably end up in Single Stack division with the SA Loaded 1911, but that is me. Shooters Connection ships very quickly to Central Illinois. I hope to see you at some of the matches around. Hope this helps. Others may have different advice. I would soak up all the good stuff in this forum, especially the 1st post in this this about your first match. Dirk
  6. Prizes were not related to stats so I don't have a list, but I believe that the people who won the prize raffles were notified. Congrats on HOA for the match! Thanks to everyone who worked the match & attended!
  7. Welcome! You probably already know about http://www.wiilshoot.com/.
  8. I would check the 9mm reloading forum. I am sure there is a bunch of information about that configuration. Welcome!
  9. Welcome! Hopefully I have or will shoot with you sometime.
  10. I would look at Dawson's site. Measure your mags & order the basepad insert if it is the correct length. If it is not the correct length, it may not work very well as they state. http://www.dawsonprecision.com/CategoryProductList.jsp?cat=MAGAZINE+PARTS:Para+Ordnance
