I shoot outdoors with The Blue Bullets, only smell i have noticed is powder nothing like lead etc. but TiteGroup is a bit smoky, While not as smoky as some other coated bullets i've shot through it.

That's right. I measured my P11 and it's a shade over 1.4 (I got 1.429"). May need to look into removing the right side safety or something. But otherwise it should be good to go for IDPA BUG. 6rds in each mag, you can carry three extra mags for reloading. You start DA or cocked and locked. I have actually lightly thinned the right side safety, and it's perfectly legal now also a mean daily carry blaster too!

I think the X -Cal or X-Trim either one would work, the X-Cal has a longer sight radius. should have no problems under teh 2.5" mark. Depending on bullet selection. CZ makes a SP01 Tac 2, which does not have the heavier dust cover, but still isn't as light as the Grand Powers. If you go that route, check the test target before you buy, some are ok on accuracy, some are phenomenal. The cool part is they come with a test target. I must say there is one on gun broker Easy pay right now that I've almost bought twice.. if ONLY it ha the light rail. lol

What ammo were you running in both the X cal and shadow, My x Cal should be in today or tomorrow, so I''ll be looking for a good load for it... and "how" accurate.?

I've never had said issue. ... but i think Nic could break an anvil with a banana. after noticing it, and dry firing..... it still doesn't bother me.

Thanks for sharing, So much of what we do in shooting is subconscious, this is something that needs to be a conscious thought amongs the matter. The method of thumb in front and rolling it out gets your thumb with crud on it, oil, not to mention. it feels silly, a solid grip on the hammer with the weak hand, and i've never had a problem.

for BUG or CCP you need to thin the nubs on the safety down a few thousandths. it's 1.4" at the widest. there. not sure about the big button safety. Do they even reload in BUG? I am a big fan of the single platform.

I don't get why it bothers you. a lot of other guns have a feel when you take up the first amount of slack in the trigger, the click isn't even so much a feel. It took me playing with the gun quite a bit to feel it. What do you usually shoot?

P1 ultra is very cool. i would rather have the P1 though so if i carry mexican i don't get bit by the lightening cuts lol
