  1. Hope this helps... accurate9.pdf
  2. Here another spin on the data where the information provided shows what to expect from a variance on velocity and presuure if you change the powder charge. 40SW_Clays_Charge_VAriations.pdf
  3. Here's a rough estimate based on the data that you provided. The only change was that since I didnt have the specific length on the bullet that you are using I went ahead and substituted it with a Speer TMJ. 40SW_Clays.pdf

Para, The 20K number is a ballpark figure and yes it includes dry firing.

    Broke It Again

I use Vanek Trigger kits (Tried the RS) in all of my Glock’s and I believe Charlie is using a Wolff trigger spring. I make it a point to carry spare springs when ever I am competing but having said that I have never had one break on me. It’s my belief that if you practice a little preventive maintenance by replacing the springs at X intervals (20k for me) then this issue would have a low probability of occurring.
  6. VAnek does offer a Drop In trigger that valid for production.
  7. One more thing the NHO Big Mouth is made in Stainless Steel and Aluminum.
  8. That's the only thing I have ever purchased from Tom that has been relegated to the spare parts bin. The main issue I had with it is that you could only use Wolff springs. ISMI and Glock springs would not work due to the oversized diameter of the rod.
  9. Novaks guide rod is thicker than most and it requires Wolff Springs.
  10. George, You must be extremely lucky with your JPoint since my Open Glock Optics haven’t held up well to the pounding from 9x19 Major loads. (2 Doctor Optik, 1 JPoint) I am planning on having another one built towards the end of the year and it will be equipped with a CMore.
  11. I have extended tungsten standard length tungsten and standard length stainless. In my G34 I have noticed no difference in felt recoil with either guide rod (Currently using Stainless for ESP). On my G35 when using major PF load I have noticed no difference where I did notice a slight improvement was when using lighter springs. Currently I am using a G20 in 40 S&W Long Loaded for Limited and to be frank I notice no difference when using Tungsten or the factory guide rod with that gun. Having said that there is a difference in the felt recoil between the G20 and the G35 with the felt recoil being lighter on the G20.
  12. Novaks Big Mouth will fit in the IDPA Box with the following Glock Models: G17 G22 G20 G21 It is a no go with the G34/35.
  13. I would not hesitate to use them in either Steel, Bianchi, GSSF or IPSC/USPSA Minor competition. Now when it comes to 9x19 Major loads I would prefer a wide bodied 1911 since I have a little more cartridge OAL to work with on that platform than I do with a Glock 17 frame.
  14. I can state for the record that Ralph did offer me a full refund on his trigger kit which I chose to not accept. KimberKid States: "And all you have to do is pay twice as much and wonder about the legality of it for your particular division." As far as KimberKids quote is concerned you will pay substantially more for Vanek’s Limited/Open trigger since it is a custom fitted part and the gun has to be shipped but if you decide to buy Vanek's Drop In Trigger which is PRODUCTION LEGAL you only pay slightly more than Ralph’s and Vanek provides more Glock original parts than Ralph. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...47&hl=vanek "When you do a side by side comparison of the packages the Vanek trigger has one more part and thats the Glock Trigger Housing."
  15. While I experienced it in a G22 Gen 2 I did not test it on all of my G3 frames just the one G35. Since you are having issues with your Gen 3 frame it seems like the problem is not unique to Gen 2 frames. BTW, I no longer use the RS trigger I continue to use Vanek's Limited/Open and Production legal triggers since they have proven themselves to work consistently over time.
  16. I experienced a similar problem with my RS trigger and posted it on this very forum back in January. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...5729&st=200 Is your Glock a generation 2 or 3 frame?
  17. ISMI for Para Ordnance work fine you can also use Wolff's if you are on budget since they sell them in 10 packs. As far as Magazine Wells for a G20/21 I would suggest one of the following depending on your budget Glockmeister (Aluminum or Brass polymer insert) California Competition Works (Polymer with alloy insert) and Novak Hand gunner Outlet (Stainless with Brass Insert or Aluminum with either Brass or Polymer insert). BTW, I compete with the G20 (USPSA Limited) and G21 (IDPA CDP) and have tried all of those magazine wells with the Arredondo extensions and the Pierce +2 and I prefer the Novak design.
  18. Just keep your velocities at under 1000 FPS and clean your barrel after every session and you'll be fine. BTW, the HK USP uses the same type of rifling as Glock's and I have never heard anyone say that lead reloads could not be used with that firearm.
  19. Glock21c, Hope it works for you. BTW I am also using the NHO Big Mouth for the G20/21 with the Pierce Grip plus 2 extensions with no problems.
  20. Sorry if I'm sounding repetitious but what ammunition are you using factory or reloads?
  21. Houn, Did you buy this G35 new or used? Are you using reloads or factory ammunition? What other modifications have you done to it beside the RS Trigger, Dawson Sights and THE Accessories Magazine Well? Here's a picture of my G35 that I am no longer using since I now use the G20 in 40S&W. This has the following features: KKM Barrels in 40 S&W and 357 SIG Vanek Limited Trigger configured at 1.5 pounds JP Enterprise Magazine Release NHO Big Mouth Magazine Well in Stainless Full Length Tungsten Guide Rod with 13 or 15 pound spring (Depends on load) CGR Melted Bomar with Dawson FO Front Sight The only time I have ever experience problems was when I was working up a minor load in that it would have similar problems to the ones you are having once I went to the lighter spring problems went away. Which is why I am asking what ammunition you are using? G35.pdf
  22. I own a plethora of Glock's in 9x19, 40 S&W and 45 ACP and besides cleaning them every x amount of rounds the only maintenance I have ever done on them has been to replace springs on a yearly basis (Striker, Recoil and magazine) other than that nothing. BTW, my G35 has over 80k rounds and besides the springs all that I have done to it is replace the front sight from the original CGR melted Bomar to a Dawson Fiber.
  23. Flex, Why wouldnt a caliber conversion be valid for Limited? The way I read Line 16 of the USPSA manual is that as long as the HANDGUN or COMPONENTS have been factory produced and 500 or more have been manufactured its legal for the USPSA Limited Division. With regards to Barrels Line 19 states quite clearly that it has to be the same length as the original it mentions nothing about caliber changes. US APPENDIX D7 Limited Division Special conditions: 16. Any complete handgun or components produced by a factory and available to the general public for one year and 500 produced. Prototypes are specifically not allowed. 19. Internal modifications to improve accuracy, reliability and function are allowed. E.g. spherical bushings, Acc-U-Rails, replacement barrels provided the barrel length is the same as original factory standard.
  24. I have used the NHO, JP Enterprise and THE magazine wells with all of Arredondo basepads with no problems. For most of my Glocks I am using the NHO (Novak's) (G34, G35, G17, G20 G22 in Stainless 3rd Gen Frames) (G21 in Aluminum 3rd Gen Frame) except for one JP Enterprise that I'm using for ESP (G22 in Alloy 2nd Gen Frame). On a side note at one time I was considering using the SJC but since I now compete with Large Framed Glocks that left me with very few options,
  25. I have several of Charlie’s Triggers (Custom fitted and Drop In) and also the RS. I found the RS trigger (G17 sized frame) to be rather firearm finicky and have since relegated it to the box of unused toys.
