  1. Heliarclee Yes that's my understanding of many pro triggers . Pull weight alone may be very light but with a heavier trigger reset it balances out to meet minimum pull weights plus . I don't have tthat type of muscle twitch .
  2. No I'm say just don't figure is as light as some here want on theres .. Might have a very light trigger pull weight but with a heavier return spring .
  3. Sig CS rep told me last week the LCI's were being fazed out on production models so most like any found have been in some ones stock for a little while at least .
  4. It will have to come with a Bar-Sto barrel too as that's what max runs . Some might be surprised what his trigger feels like . Guys like jerry miculek run heavier trigger return springs .
  5. Wonder why they need to fix what use to work so darn reliably as in my full and compact 5 year old 40sw but I also primarily run home rolled Missouri 155gr coated swc with some zero 165gr hp . While carry ammo is 155gr gold dot from underwood or Georgia arms same load . Never had a feed or function issue even but I have very limited 180gr trigger time over the years even when I shoot 40sw in uspsa . I had to try some georgia arms canned heat and some 180gr hst after reading about others issues . I have not shoot matches in some years and only fire a couple thousand rounds fired a years now but not a standard or light load guy ether . All you guys that think they have mag issues do they run fine with stock lengths ? Even my 8 old mags bought when new run reliably and are tighter than any I see measured here with a .368 front and rear . They seem reliable in my new p320XC 9mm just to see if they run well there too just in case like guys have done with conversion barrels in 40's ! Only run around 1000 rounds thru it but all the mags run so far . I'm think sigs has produced to many variations over its short life span and QC is lacking
  6. Guess just not an issues with full size or 5" pistols .
  7. Same here I had a earlier model for a while that I was going to cut the slide on my old p320c for but then word is the PRO is comeing , some day ! Got bored and drilled the holes out on the optic for the larger screws it . Mines is a LCI model and I filed off the bottom of the lci ,removed the spring and red glued it in place . Very little blow back on the lens but the optic sits closer than on some p320's
  8. Might be your load and the larger pistol easily being more tuneable with spring changes . Mines a 3.6" for carry . Thanks .
  9. Isn't the carry optic weight limit now 45oz ? So add the metal shroud or not , That metal shroud on your play guns does not matter unless your really rough on it . I'm only trying to drop brass half the distance away it is normally but maybe that's not an issue on the X5 fun guns .
  10. Rich406 Our only other pistol with an optic is m&p core and no brass to optic with it . zhunter Yea I can but I'm also trying to control how brass is ejected and the distance its throwing brass . This is something I have done with several pistols but by reducing the length of the ejector but on a 1911 or m&p that's not a be deal to change if screwed up ! Thanks .
  11. R1P owners any note of brass to your optic frame work or lens ? If so have you found a fix . My pistol is a p320XC I'll carry at some point down the road when eye sight or hands want something other than hot 40sw loads . Mine has a Romeo on it and a number of different loads hit the frame of the optic but not the lens yet . I would also like brass to fly a shorter distance than 10 feet + or - at 4:30 with standard defensive ammo , no lite loads no +P . If the ejector was not part of the FCU I would start filing it shorter a little at a time . That's worked for me in the past but never had this type brass to optic issue right off

    P365 For CCW

LawDog324 One holster I have used for the last 16 years of my 33 years of CC is a Comp-Tac MTAC at 3:00 carried high on my side and the same set of polymer c-clips for the duration of those 16 years . The holsters design for a 4 to 5 o'clock carry but as high as I wear mine it works at 3:00 in the top clip holster . Belts an old 1.5" jay pee double thick belts that's 25 years old . Now if you still have your cross breed the comp-tac C-Clips or full clip they sell may cure your belt clip issues and give you some extra adjustability , feel free to punch other holes too even them some un wanted leather away if your find that perfect carry position . What I like about the MTAC is I bought it for a 1911 16 years ago but a tp40 kahr fit well in it too and today that old kydex body is on my wifes MTAC leather back half after I purchased an early run p320c 5 years ago and holsters were rather limited so I tried comp-tacs p250 compact body for the MTAC hybrid back half and over the years its worked well . I notched the front of it so I could carry my wifes M&P core on occasion and if needed I tighten the tighten the tension screws slightly for my lw commander carry's or my old s&w 669 . But changing bodies is only takes a couple minutes if your end up buying a larger pistol that does not fit in that wittle bitty p365 set up . My edc is a P320c 40sw with a current compact XC grip module but occasionally carry a M&P 4.25 40sw or a lw commander . I'm 5-9 215lb 64 year old with a mid size spair tire and manage to cc the p320c well under only a Carhartt Delmont T as there cut a little fuller around the waist than most T's plus carried high my arm aids with concealment and keeps people from bumping in to a handgun . https://comp-tac.com/mtac-premier-iwb-hybrid-holster-comp-tac/ Just my 2 cents worth !
  13. So your running a stock recoil spring blue , green or unknow weight ?
  14. Any one shoot a 40 or 9mm major and tried different recoil springs like 20 or 22lb springs ? I made a trade with one of our daughters . She wanted a 9mm and I had a glock 19 gen 5 I had no use for . She had a 5 year old m&p 4.25 40sw that has a thumb safety and I added a apex fss kit it when new . This pistol has the green recoil springs and is low round count and shoots well . I'm able to keep 15 rounds in a 3x2 inch group at 50 feet standing shooting quickly two handed , .780 splits . I talked to a S&W CS guy about the springs color and weights and after checking with some one else told me the new springs are un painted and the 40 runs 20lbs spring ?? True or not . We also have a 4.25 CORE bought about the same time , 5 years ago that is my wifes and its had apex trigger group as soon as apex had them and a gunsmith fit barrel upgrade when those back available and it now a very good shooter but was a real turd until the barrel was changed .
  15. Guess you can look up all the normal choices to check weights but doubt any will weight more than 1.5oz , check out Shield new mini RMR . Battery life can last for up to 2 years and dot intensity is auto adjustable . battery access is from the side . Sheild made Trijicon rmr sights for years and still make J Point along with military dot optics . For some odd reason they also sell votex in Europe so I wonder who makes them ! .. My wife has a Trijicon rm5g and another one that sells well and works well is vortex viper and venom .
  16. I'm not a seller . I have let some go to family members but not to sell out right . This a new handgun . but still only a tool to fill a need . I have zero interest in spend money on an sti 2011 guardian to get a lite double stack 1911/2011 for carry . Rather by another p320 I guess but hoped for some hands on knowledge
  17. I have am looking for a 4" double stack 9mm for carry and run across the BUL double stack M-5 commander for sale new for $825 . I know the BUL brand was sold thru kimber and Wilson but never did really take off here . Just looking for an honest opinion if there good pistols as a whole or keep looking .
  18. Mod1 firearms will take your stock lever and cut to look just like the old flat lever . Price is 55 bucks and 2 weeks . If its worth it to you . I ground the ridge of the bottom of the lever and heavily rounded both ends and lower edge on the bar , oiled wet dry1000 grit paper to polish so its far less abusive to my thumb and cold blued it . Works far better .
  19. Flat lever is now used on the sub compact model but good luck with CS . adamb full size or compact does not change your weak hand grip . Even large to small grip only changes strong hand placement !!
  20. Looks like I'll stay with the 40sw p320 compact for a larger carry and have a pt111g2 and m&p9c of a 9mm if needed . Thanks
  21. I bit far off from a liter weight carry gun to matter , I have a DW 44 mag with and with out ported barrel. I don't notice the difference like you . have not use the ported barrel in decades .
  22. I'm starting to hear move of what you said . Advertising does tend to stretch the truth at times so figured I would ask . Thanks
  23. A while back I had hand surgery on my trigger and middle finger . I lost a good deal of finger strength and trigger control . This question relates to my favored carry pistol , a kahr tp40 . I have changed handguns to a wider , heavier , short reset trigger sig p320 and lighter recoiling hp ammo but have since changed back to the underwood ammo for carry but miss the lite ,thin tp40 kahr . I loaded some real light loads to see if I could control the long trigger pull of the kahr and I think that will be fine but when I tried the carry ammo a couple mags fired still hurts my hand and grip control is lacking So I am looking for real shooter insight into how the mag-na-port porting will change the snap of a lighter pistol and if its worth while or just stay with the replacement pistol .

    Sig P320

RippinSVT What did you do to the trigger return spring. Mine is 5lb all by it self

Maybe I should have added if you "complain" about the trigger that normally means you don't shoot it as well as you could . So my bad maybe ! BUT the trigger is something that can be tried out in the gun shop when you handle one . And reviews I read about the trigger were spot on with what I found in the models I handled so its not a surprise . The trigger take up does smooth up with rounds down range or dry firing also .
