  1. Kind of like raceing a car that is almost good enough against one that is, kinda hard to beat it.
  2. It is not ready out of the box. Several things need to be done but it is better than the rest.
  3. No doubt you are the premier shooter but I was talking about that funny thing that sticks up in the air that you line up with something else.
  4. YEH!! But you guys shoot guns with those funny things behind the comp.
  5. Send the lower in and will have it shipped out in about 2-3 days. We use controlled milling machines to get an even deep and perfect cut from front to rear.
  6. Pats right that if you load 2 don't cut the port forward much as it sides. will trap your thumb, but, widen and cut 60degree on the port
  7. The gun is just a tactical model with carbon tube added. They did try to weld up lifter but it is to short and still bites on load 2. You can get by with it but it is like raceing indy with a stock car. If you are SERIOUS about 3-gun, it still needs a lot more.
  8. Also, 9rds total is not enough, needs to be 10-11 for competition.
  9. By just looking, it still needs the loading port opened up right, safety easier, and bolt lightened or maybe not. A lot better but still no cigar. At least Remington is trying new things.
  10. On a scale of 1 to 10, we just went from a 1 to a 10 on the viewing chart. Let us know how it turns out Jessie, sorry about the F.U.
  11. I started shooting uspsa open in 1992-3 and made grand master in 95. I was shooting 50-65 thousand rds a year and 2-3 times a week practice and 2 matches a month. Depends on how much you want something.
  12. Your problem is the bolt lugs are not going into battery. Clean barrel lug recesses and bolt lugs. Put marks-a-lot on bolt lugs, assemble and rack a few times. Look where lugs were dragging and remove a little from them and polish lugs until no drag marks..
  13. Kurt, did you measure that with a ruler.
  14. Put the bolt into battery and use a long, large screwdriver, wedge it under it, using the receiver for a rest and pop it out.
  15. All of mine are dented. Have run a lot of shells w/o any problem. Does'nt seem to get worse after a little flat.
  16. It is recoil orperated and the x-tra weight of tube & shells won't let it cycle unless heavier shells are used. Mine would orp. with 3 drm. but not 2 3/4 drm.
  17. Open up both sides of breachface to .415-.420 and good to go for forty but not useable for a 9mm anymore.
  18. Getting old, carbon fiber for 1lb less weight and not as hot here in south tx.
  19. Since I don't hit steel center but on the edges, I need 1 1/8 oz shot.
