  4. have built 100's of gun's w/ STI slides & have not had any crack. It might be someone is running to light a recoil spring & is battering the slide?
  5. the LT 20 is lighter so is better for a lady. everyone has seen the full size 1100's not work all the time. I have been shooting the LT 20 for 3 yr's. & have had no failures. Mag. ext.'s are made for them. 9 rd. side saddles, & with a dead mule recoil reducer & a decellarater pad it is like shooting a 10/22
  6. I run the 21" barrel for tactial & the 24" ported for open. The super black eagle will not work on the m1 super 90
  7. the fastest person to shoot USPSA on the draw in a match or just doing it at the shot show was KEVIN COATS of gause,tx. I saw him do several 1st shot draws at area matches on 4/7 yd targets in the .50's At the shot show one year he avg.'ed .54's for 3 draw's at the safariland booth. He has not shot in 2 yrs. & we miss him
  8. one problem you may run into is O.A.L. of the loaded rds. In the sti/sv mag's you need to run 1.240/50 to be reliable. the 9mm loads will be quite a bit shorter
  9. do not use the full size rem. use the lt-20. it is fast, light, & totally reliable.
  10. in USPSA YOU CAN LOAD A TOTAL OF 9 RDS. YOU NEED TO DO THIS. IN TACTIAL MATCHES YOU CAN HAVE A 22' BARREL &MAG. EXT. 1" past this for a total of 11 RDS W/ ONE ON THE CARRIER.
  11. in USPSA YOU CAN LOAD A TOTAL OF 9 RDS. YOU NEED TO DO THIS. IN TACTIAL MATCHES YOU CAN HAVE A 22' BARREL &MAG. EXT. 1" past this for a total of 11 RDS W/ ONE ON THE CARRIER.
  12. most all new barrels are rifled to accept .355 / 9mm. dia. bullets.
  13. if you are shooting 165/170 p.f. loads try ISMI 12.5 or 14 lb. springs
  14. if you shoot a slow powder that burns in the comp instead of a faster one that burns in the barrel, youwill not have any lead in your comp. I have been shooting accurate # 7 & win. 571 for years & never have a speck of lead in any comp I use.
  15. I build uppers useing douglass air guaged prem. 1-12 twist blank's. I turn & chamber my own barrels & they will shoot federal 55 gr. nolser ballistic tip in .25/.35 at a 100 yd. & .885/1.115 at 300 yds. I had to demo this for the local benchrest group but they believe now.
