  1. I disagree my major, more control is not necessarily a good thing, look at ur government, individual responsibility is the key. It takes a lot of personal time and effort to run a match, match directors don't need anyone telling them how to do their jobs. But it is very nice if the rules, hotels, prize distribution, etc can go up the same time a match is announced, it allows shooters to make better informed decisions and probably aids the match directors as this will allow folks to meke the decision and enter a match sooner, giving them more working capital. jeff
  2. Nope, was just looking for them today as well, trying to figure gear out for all these matches See ya'll there jc
  3. Glad everyone is looking forward to this as much as I am, much less worry for me this year so more time to enjoy all you being there and I am also very honored to be one of the Pro's giving a clinic this year amongst the legends of the shooting sport. Much to do between now and then but can't wait for it to get here. jc
  4. Some folks had doubts we could pull off the event last year so it did not fill in seconds as I had hoped, but now that last year was such a success I do think it will be filling very quickly this year, so be ready on registration day, i think the plan is to follow the template from last year and hav eregistration on Feb 15, be good on Valentines day and get permission. jc
  5. Sorry guys, I built and maintained the website for the match last year (with a some help) as well as being match director and that is the link above, I know they have a very capable guy lined up and working ot get a site up and running but not sure of when it will go live. I guess once it does I may kill the old one as much as I hate too, it was a good year my friends, looking forward to an even better Jeff
  6. Yep, Michael and Iain did a great jobof showing how fun the match was and all the PRO stages, I expect a bunch more folks this year will be wanting to take part,
  7. Trust me Gary, you'll have plenty to do and not near enough time for that, I barely findished shooting one match, poorly I might add
  8. I think shooting a box fed gun under a vehicle or low port would level the situation a little as well, good stage design is the geatest equalizer and evaluator of good equipment
  9. Are you referring to the 2011 or 2012 match, trying to make at least plans for what time of year I need to be off work to attend the World thanks, cheers
  10. I strongly endorse using the Nordic components, we have been using them for years, teh guys support the sport, they listen to our feedback and are constantly working to make the products better.
  11. I shot my Vinci in the 3 Gun Nation Championship Event and it did great, I love this gun, I used a tube I had made, but I know that work is in progress to get some commercially available, so Vinci lovers jsut wait a bit longer and you should be all set I did have C-Rums weld up my lifter for me as well, as he does on the M1 & M2's, absolutely no way to hang my thumb now I'll problably shoot this in most matches from here on out as I have a couple length tubes for it now Stand by
  12. From the speed at which scores were posted up online and prize table flowing smoothly it looks like Sandra and girls behind the copmuters did a great job at the behind the scenes work, your hard work is always appreciated and never really noticed unless things go wrong, Whooooooooohhoooooooooo!!!!!!!
  13. Well I guess we can unofficially close this thread as the cat is now out of the bag on the 2012 match. With over 64,000 views and many, many posts, tons of Youtube video and now been on 3 Gun Nation and a couple more TV shows left to go I think the match was a fantastic success for all; shooters, staff, sponsors and the sport as a whole. Thanks again to all that helped make it happen and lets make 2012 an even bigger success, I'm sure it will sell out! Go Gary!!! JC
  14. I just hope I can get in too! No seriously Gary has lots of experience and helped out at the match last year so I am certain that the snowball of success is still rolling and I will lend a hand where I can to make his job easier so let the wooooooohooooooo's begin and everyone get ready to help make it even bigger, better and get ready for registration Coverage on 3 Gun Nation last night was cool, those Sponsor barricades look even better on TV See ya'll there Jeff
  15. You boys save your energy for the match and you can discuss levels of greatness and fun over beverages at the Rock, which I don't remember you being at this year Larry? So don't think you can offer an informed opinion hmmm,
  16. Mark, ya'll just stay right here until the official announcement, we don't want too many filling the forums and confusing people, just stand by a bit longer,
  17. And thanks to the lovely Stats staff for all their hard work in the match and all the match we are lucky enough to attend
  18. This is too hard but I'll play, in no particular order, all are great ambassadors, fun to shoot with, fiercely competitive but in the most friendly way, gentlemen of the highest order, and pass on our sport to whomever they speak, they have supported for many years before it was the game, Running matches, working with sponsors , sharing knowledge, clinics, classes, too much to list. But there are many others that fit that profile as well Bruce Piatt- Kurt Miller- Pat Kelley jc
  19. I think the right answer is much simplier than that, but I can tell you from being behind one of those guns, that once you left the target and since the targets reset, it would be next to impossible to go back after and know if you had hit it or not, tough days!
  20. I knew I still had something to do, thanks Kelly
