  1. I am gonna be there for the class. I was kind of hoping I woudl have gotten an email from the instructor by now telling me to bring X number of rounds and be there at X:00 and plan on being done daily by X:00. I'll email Max again. Got an email from Robert today. 8:00am Wed start time. From Max's website looks like 800 to 1000 rounds. So some where in the vicinity of 1400 rounds for the class and match. Looks like we'll be doing some shooting this week
  2. I assume there's 9 other people out there signed up for Max's class on Wednesday and Thursday, I'm number 10. Does anyone know what time Wednesday we need to be there? I've PM'd and emailed Robert but I'm sure he's really busy and haven't heard back from him.
  3. Looking forward to it. Got my slot, shooting Open.
  4. They are tight, but that's the good news because once you get them where you want them they aren't going anywhere. I found that you just have to keep working them, once you get them moving they will get easier. The first few inches are the hardest.
  5. Exactly what I was saying, without saying it.
  6. Why would anyone "practice" a classifier?
  7. No kidding, eveytime I hit "Submit Order" and my doorbell rings. Well... almost but they are one of the best.
  8. Hey Robert, any idea how many rounds we'll need during the class?
  9. Open is alive and well in Texas. If you're in a 10 round state Open 10 doesn't sound like much fun. IMHO USPSA has something for everyone. From Production to Open you can spend 3 or 400 dollars to 5000 plus. I think that makes it interesting. For my part I have at least one of each for each division and I've come to shoot. 32 round stages are great. When our local clubs do have a short stage, less than 24 rounds, I feel cheated, but I don't complain, I just think it's all great.
  10. So, If I've got this right, having a miniature video camera mounted on your ear gear is a sighting device? OK, that makes a lot of sense.
  11. I know for a fact that Chuck Norris, Jack Bauer and Superman all have Bob Vogel PJ's. You guys are way to funny
  12. Once again, very imaginative stages, hat's off to the DT Ranch
  13. Like everone else has said. You might consider the MG IFP in 121gr. I've been using them and are very happy with their accuracy. Built just like a JHP but the hollow point is filled.
  14. It was funny because he wanted me to give it to you but I felt like he should since he bought it. Hope it works well for you.
  15. I think there's one just North of the Match Hotel but I don't know the name. Googlemaps doesn't show a name.
  16. Clays meters very well out of my Dillon 650. Can't imagine why it wouldn't becuase it is fine.
  17. Hey Jessie, welcome. Hope you enjoy the new Tanfo Limited.
  18. This cooolllllddddd weather is proof that Global Warming exists I mean, what more proof do we need?
  19. Scott, I'm on the same trajectory. Done shotshell, just starting metallic. Live a little further West, as in Midland. Dillon just arrived with Santa. First reloads later this month. Mike Welcome Scott. This is a great place to be. Hey Mike, where do yo shoot?
  20. The touchie-feely-lickie thing describes my Dobie to a tee. When you take her for a walk she always wants to hold your hand in her mouth. She'll come up from behind you and pick up your hand and just hold it real soft. If she's laying on her cushion beside you in the den, every few minutes she has to get up and lick your hand just to make sure you know she's still there.
  21. I would say all Dobie also. The uncropped ears make change the looks but the head is sure female Dobie.
  22. The load I use for 200gr MG JFP is 4.7grs of Clays, with an OAL of 1.21 and Federal Primers. This makes 174PF in my STI Sentry. 4.6grs makes 170PF and 4.8grs makes 176PF. FWIW I normally use an OAL of 1.25 for my .45acp loads but when I started loading the MG JFPs I forgot to change my bullet seating depth from the 230gr bullets I was using. The first batch of 50 I put out were 1.21 since the ogive is different on the 200's from the 230's. I thought I'd try them and they run perfectly so I just left it at 1.21.
