+1 what TonyT says. And, it works great in my Dillion 550B.

I have used about a pound of Titegroup with LSWC's but found it had a "snappy" recoil pulse in my 1911's and G21. It worked fine and was accurate, but not as comfortable as other powders that were just as accurate. My favorites with a H&G 68, in order, are: WST, VV N310, Bullseye, Clays, ... Titegroup. Just my $0.02 worth.

I use WST in my 45 ACP's and really like it. I am beginning to load 9mm's and would like to stick with WST. Does anyone have any experience with it? Pros/Cons? Thanks in advance!

I have tried almost all of the popular lead bullet brands in my Wilson and the Laser-Cast are clearly the cleanest shooting. If you are having problems, you might want to try changing powders as an option. For me, a 0.452" 200 grain LSWC Laser-Cast with VV N310 or WST are very, very clean. Just a thought.

I've shot 'em all. I like WST as good as any and better than most powders. And, it fouls the least of all I've tried. VVN310 was next best.

You have a great press. Ditch the RCBS dies. Get a set of carbide Dillion dies. I did this a few years back and have never looked back.

Tried 'em all. Laser Cast bullets cost more but they are always delivered promptly and they are right when I get 'em. I can load them right out of the box and I do not have to be the quality control for the provider. If I'm going to be the QC guy I may as well cast and size them myself. I've probably shot 20K+ Laser Cast (45 ACP and 45 LC) without a bad bullet or problem. I can't say that for any of the aforementioned providers that provide unpredictable delivery and/or sporadic bullet quality. Some of them are run by really nice and hard working people -- but they just can't seem to deliver (at least to me) the goods. I just decided to suck it up and deal with someone I can count on.

4.4 - 5.0 grains of WST or 4.2 - 4.5 grains of VVN310.

Isn't almost everything softer shooting than Titegroup???

I recently bought the Glockworks light weight version for my G21 and found it to be no improvement over the stock FP when using a light spring. When I measured the "extended" tip I discovered it was exactly the same as a stock Glock pin. I had to go back to a stock FP spring to make it work. In summary, a total waste of $80. That's my experience.

I use a red fiber optic front and a black serrated Dawson rear on most of my Glocks. This works better for me than any of the other combo's I have tried. Fiber optics in the back sight slowed me down (too much to look at) without any real accuracy advantage. The bedside model has tritium front and back.

How much WST are you using in your favorite loads for 200 grain LSWC's? How would you compare WST to Clays, VV N310 and/or Titegroup in the 45 ACP? I am going to try some this weekend for the first time -- thanks in advance for your input and thoughts. Danny

I just placed an order with Penn. I must say that I have never found anyone as helpful as these folks. We traded 5 - 6 e-mails before I placed my order -- for a carefully selected sample pack of different sizes and hardnesses that they arranged just for me. The price is right and I think I have found a winner. Danny
