I used two #10 machine washers. I used a belt sander to make them fit. They go in place of the mag disconnect and spring. Way easy to do.

Its a THE brass magwell. I got it from Custom Glock Racing. About $72 delivered. Adds about 6.6oz to the gun. The mag bases are Arredondo's.

Uh.... how about some muzzle control (3rd vid she breaks 180 in the vertical)? And... get her a gun that runs, and teach her how to not limp wrist it? And, teach her how to shoot on the move? Actually, that 3-chair drill in the 3rd vid is kind of entertaining, though... Not my vids......11 year old wrists are......limp. She looks like she's learning just fine.

I have been shooting my G-23 carry gun in L-10 this year. Fun, but I want to shoot limited. So, a few dozen items sold on E-bay......and a new 35 came home with me. Waited a week for the magwell and fiber optic front sight, while my armorer buddy did the trigger. 48oz now. Add in a photography hobby and voila! Shot my best classifier ever (72%) with it last sunday. My new blaster:

Dawn dishwashing soap, hot water, and a toothbrush. Dry thoroughly. Lube with whatever floats your boat. Cleaning time? <5 minutes.

High temp bearing grease from wal mart. Works even in the cold and costs $2 for big tub.

I am in the process. I used a grinder to take the molded grips down flush with the frame. Then drill and tap holes for 1911 grip screw bushings. Then add 1991 grips. Now I would love to hear how the mag well came to be....

I have two. Both are Uncle Mikes cheapos for 1911's. One I cut so a holosight fits and one is stock. A little adjustment of the tension screws...and I have two holsters for about 22 bucks.
