What advantages/ disadvantages are there to using the conventional method to the 90 degree?

Try the sand paper but i would recommend a finer grit prob 600-800 to reduce excessive marking on the inside.

Tow ideas comes to mind seeing it happen to a couple buds of mine using Glocks with ext mag releases. Try switching to the original mag release or firstly try popping in a heavier spring.

I tend to agree with lumpygravy that most manufactured "polymer" guns have some sort of checkering on their guns...the serrations on the other hand I have not seen.

Ne one know of an optic mount that doesnt require the third pin at all for installation. I think the SJC just needs another hole drilled by an armorer..ne other???

Happened to me a lot at matches as well as training. High gripping and holding down the slide release. Had to adjust my grip a bit, which took a lot of work getting used to. But was worth it in the end!

I actually posted that very question today. My idea was to get the hole drilled and change the locking block completely to that of the newer version. I think that theroretically it might work . Want to shoot open with my gun that has brought me this far...dont wanna change it! Any more views.
