  1. There are a couple other kinds, but they don't hold the same record. I read the other day that 95% of Harley's ever made are still on the road. ... ... ... ... ... ... the other 5% made it home! (I'm gonna pay for that one)
  2. What kind of motorcycle? Mark and I might be able to bring a couple, too.
  3. I was considering going, but you said you needed competition. If you had said you needed comic relief, I'd be buying a revolver and loading all of those .38 cases I've collected.
  4. I sure hope I don't run into people who are willing to cheat to try to win.
  5. They did have them...I ordered 2! I also ordered this: http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/Pro...le=FIRING%20PIN It looks like the one from Brownells probably won't work, as the part numbers on e-gunparts.com for the 469 and 6904 don't match. I thought they were very similar so I took the chance and ordered the one from Brownells before I noticed your post about Numrich. If you can use it, I'll send it to you when I get it.
  6. In Greenville, SC they used full-size USPSA targets for pistol and reduced USPSA targets for rifle. I thought it was a great idea.
  7. No, no, no...she doesn't shoot. If she did, I'd know better!
  8. Thank you! Would someone tell my wife that I did something right?
  9. At a local match I was pretending to be an RO. The shooter made a shot and then I see a spring and rounds falling out of his gun. I told him to stop, since I wasn't sure if it was merely a mag malfunction or if something worse had happened and might have made shooting another round dangerous. We looked the gun over and didn't see any damage and he got a reshoot. I assumed that was correct, but reading stuff here I'm realizaing that there is a lot about the rules I need to learn. (I am signed up to take the RO class next month)
  10. Motocross doesn't allow the longetivity that shooting does, but for all but a few riders, racing against Ricky Carmichael was racing for 2nd place. Similarly, the nickname given him was the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
  11. I tried S&W...backordered. I tried Midway...backordered. I tried Brownells...not listed. Any other suggestions on where I might be able to quickly get a firing pin for the 469?
  12. Why? I like that mine chambers a round for me every time I slam a mag in. It won't if I do it gently, but if I seat it like I mean it, it works consistently. If it wasn't properly chambering a round, then it would be a problem, but if it's consistent and safe (not too easy), then why is it bad?
  13. I prefer to load up the night before. At the local matches I get there early but try to help finish setting up.
  14. All of my M&Ps (not Pros, though) will close when I slam the mag hard enough. They've always grabbed a round and properly chambered, even when only having 10.
  15. I have not had any dust since I started adding a little NuFinish car wax to the media. It also makes the cases very shiny! I throw the media out when it gets dark.
  16. No, there is no de-priming with the trimmer. With two stations used on the first toolhead, I: - deprime and resize at staion 1 - trim at station 3 Then swage using the Dillon swager... Run through the vimbrating cleaner to get off the case lube Then on the 2nd toolhead - Neck size and deprime (to clear flash hole) at station 1 - drop powder in station 2 - seat on 3 - crimp on 4 I can't compare to the Giraud, but I get very consistent lengths with my Dillon.
  17. My father came out and shot his first match with us yesterday. It was cool to shoot with both my father and my youngest son. Yep, grandson whooped up on grandpa.
  18. Is this full, yet? I really want to do this.
  19. I already told him he had a purty mouth and look where that got me! I sure ain't gonna say what I *really* think of him! (Don't want to see him pull out that green highlighter)
  20. According to this: http://www.brianenos.com/dnld/550_cross_sp_lb_p-r_cal.pdf You are right about the shell plate, locator buttons, and powder funnel. I don't know about the rest of the dies, though.
  21. My 10 year old beat me at a match last year. I told him "Congratulations....and you will never shoot again!" Now he's getting close to being able to beat me on a regular basis.
  22. Last week bought some WSP for $34/1000. He was limiting people to 2,000 per person, though. I thought it was reasonable and nice of him to try to make sure that more than just one of his customers got some.
