In my experience it depends on your OAL... how long are you planning to load? I use 3.9 at 1.235 OAL and have made just over 170PF when the weather is over 70 degrees outside.

How long have you been practicing with the bladetech? I use the same holster with a G21sf in L10. I think it's a great holster. I use it closer to my hip though. Perhaps that could be a suggestion? It took a lot of dry draws for me to get comfortable but I doubt the holster will hold you back. It's a pretty good rig that a lot of big guys use.

I've been running 230FMJ zeros, clays powder with 3.9 grains at an OAL 1.235 from my Glock 21sf. Shoots well and at about 70 to 75 degrees has made 170 PF. I would think this to be equivalent dated to the montana gold bullets.

Mr. Vaughn is a good guy. I met him in my squad at the buckeye challenge. Glad you're out there working hard for the citizens of Cincy.

Flex I'll do that my next trip to the range. I really don't have any idea where my zeros are. I suppose that really is a good thing to know on all of your pistols.

I recall Jerry Miculek saying that he doesn't think of it as distance, just bigger or smaller targets. Makes a good bit of sense, since we don't really have to worry about ballistics much. Sometimes I'm just not sure what I'm aiming for. Do I shoot dead center in the plate, do I go low or do I go high. I know it's all dependent on the gun and sights. Any advice would help. I can see the point of thinking about it as just a smaller target though and up close that doesn't seem to be in my head...

Difficult match Saturday. I need lots of practice with distance shooting. Something I haven't really explored I suppose. Had two good stages out of 8, which means Conrad did in fact kick my butt. It's on the internet now, it has to be true. Good shooting with you Sarge. We had a fun squad today.

I'd say it's all what you get used to. I run mine with in L10 and haven't had any issues. I agree that it is harder to depress but I haven't had any issues with mags dropping free and really haven't had to think about it too much unless I switch and run production for a match or two. I can tell the difference at thwat point, but if I'm cosistent with it in dry fire and match use, then it doesn't bother me at all.
