  1. Any pics available? Will be interesting to see how it effects the grip angle, especially in the G21/20
  2. This was the first major match I'd ever been a part of, competitor or otherwise. Jason and Flex are always gracious hosts at the monthly match and they really did a great job putting this whole thing together. I'm just glad they let me help. That grey paint for the walls really gives my jeans a classic 80's look. Sorry for leaving you hanging on Saturday Sandman... the family is getting better though, thankfully. Big thanks to BSeevers and Chris Keen for the advice during chrono. What an experience that was for several guys in our squad. Anyway... I'm planning to paint walls next year. good work guys!

Anyone have one of these? Saw one recently and am considering as a CCW. Thanks
  4. Blackwing is a nice place. I would go rent something from them... if you decide handguns aren't your thing after that, then you've lost nothing. They do offer one:one instruction. If you feel inexperienced then seeking out professional instruction is not a bad idea. Blackwing actually offers a first time instructional course for $60. Check their training section on their website www.blackwingsc.com It includes shooting a .22 plus, ammo, etc.

Maybe I should grunt real loud every time I shoot this weekend at C'ville. On second thought Flex might just shoot me
  6. Were you praying really hard before that. If so, come over to my house and pray for a new open gun
  7. Aumiller's shop in Westerville is pretty cool. It's in the basement of an old building. I bought my G21sf from him used for a fair price. He likes cash... just remember that.
  8. I'd check out Vance's. My favorite is Blackwing www.blackwingsc.com They always have cool stuff and I've recently been finding primers there as well. Directions available from their website. Gun prices are high though. They aren't in competition with Vance's though, as their service has been tremendous for me.
  9. Anything with Pauly Shore... I'm begging for those hours of high school back!
  10. Maybe shootin with all you fancy RO's will help me a bit. Insert joke here...
  11. I grew up in Mason... I talked with Office Carter briefly at the Circleville match last week. Sorry man... wish the tax payer dollars went where they're needed. The murder numbers in Cincy have just been unbelievable in the past few years. Not to mention the reds suck!

Maybe next time we'll swap a few loads and see how they feel to each other. I'm interested in how the longer length runs in the glock... so far though, so good and as flex told PB, the 21sf shoots soft.

How did the 180's feel. Snappier? I'm not as experienced with reloading yet, but interested in some options when time and money present themselves... I did read the link... very interesting data.

How did your loads chrono out? It's intriguing to me that as we were talking yesterday, mine are making major at such a smaller OAL. How long did you say you are running yours with how many grains? Brian

    Sig Mosquito

I bought one a year or so ago... I no longer own it though. It did feel like a gun and it looked good. The front sight was interchangable with three options. My problem was that that hammer followed the slide. I ended up sending it back in to Sig, who informed me that it just needed cleaned. Even after a thorough cleaning, it continued to do so with the usual cheap .22 ammo. What I later found out was that it needed CCI mini mag to perform with any reliability. It frustrated me, and I got rid of it. My father has a Ruger Mk III with the bull barrel, which is hands down a better gun. Yeah... it looks weird, but it'll shoot just about any .22 ammo, and it is darn accurate. Also is easy to mount optics on. Price wise, it's about the same, but definitely seems heavier than the sig. Just my thoughts.
  17. I second the butt kicking comment. It's a prairie doggin' fiesta!
  18. I saw him speak a few years ago... he was still sharp as a tack even at his age.
  19. I like the zip line into the neighbors pool while shooting targets. Not sure how the neighbor would feel, but seems like a great idea to me!
  20. I must say, girls must mature faster than boys. He could care less about anything other than playing with his planet hero's toys.
  21. My son calls dry fire "practicing GI JOE." He's three!
