  1. I got an email back from Eric G. about if I could import the new airsoft into the US. He stated "Hopefully I should have some with the red barrel a bit after the first batch arrives. I’ll try to get a confirm today Eric" So, the first batch did not come with a red barrel. It would be a shame to lose one to customs.
  2. If you click the little Union Jack at the bottom of the page it shows it in English. $231 plus shipping right now at exchange rate. So it looks like Murphy's Law DOES work here. It was released just a few days after I bought an airsoft gun!
  3. I bought a M9 airsoft gun, in hopes that that would enact Murphy's Law, but to no avail. The Airsoft thing is way fun, and I think it can help with real shooting too. I just wish that Cybergun would actually MAKE the Limited Custom Airsoft gun. Its still vaporware.
  4. As I remember AR15.com had a really good range locator.
  5. I'm sure Henning would know about this, give him a call or email.
  6. its that. Tanfos need some over-travel and pre-travel in order to work properly. Put those back closer to stock and it should work again.
  7. My mother has had IBS and diverticulitis for as long as I can remember. With all the health issues that my family has had, I've learned lots about a variety of diseases. I also owned a Chinese Medicine business (acupressure and herbology) with an ex, so I saw these issues daily. I have also seen the other side by working in 2 hospitals (both ED and inpatient stuff). Its my firm belief that most of the chronic issues CAN be fixed with the proper diet and herbs. I'm not a huge fan of meds except for acute issues that need attention NOW. The people that I saw that actually got better were the ones that took control of their diet, changed their outlook, and made an effort to get rid of the disease, not just the symptoms. I struggle with my diet because I want to be healthy for another 40 years. The hardest part is when I'm working and don't have time to find a healthy meal. Recently I discovered motivations audio tapes (actually mp3's). I know I'm rambling, but the point is: we all need to be vigilant and take care of ourselves. I'm glad that the questions were asked. Many people don't even bother learning about what is goin on in their body. I would suggest finding a OMD (Dr of Oriental Medicine) or an acupuncturist that incorporates herbs. I personally witnessed people get over chronic conditions that have no cure in Western medicine. OK I'll get down off the soapboxhttp://www.brianenos.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif
  8. Polyps and diverticulitis? This is a wake up call to start on a healthy path. No one can tell you exactly how to live, so you will need to find what works for you. Things that create digestion problems for many people are: Wheat, Sugar, milk, Beef. Some things to consider: eliminate all sodas (especially diet) eliminate all wheat (tough to do), restrict added sugar in all forms (also tough to do, but really worth it), restrict meat intake to no more than 4oz a day, do a candida flush, do a liver flush, start to really CARE about what you eat. Read labels, become obsessive about your healthy diet. Eat from the farmers market. Start to take ownership of your diet, because we are what we eat. Unfortunately the diet in the US is mostly garbage; processed, preserved, fast food is what is sold to us. Many people refuse to change habits even in the face of chronic, potentially deadly diseases. If you are willing to get better, you can, but it is a challenge and many people are not up to the challenge.
  9. I started Lubing cases for 40 cal push through sizing. It's easy enough to put cases in a large plastic container like you get Parmesan Cheese in from Costco, add a dab of Lee lube to the lid and shake for 30 seconds. The cases come out dry and ready to load. One does need to clean the finished cartridges after this.
  10. $300 is a very good deal but I sure wouldn't call it a top of the line platform. A good place to start maybe but it would take quite a bit to get a witness to be a great pistol. Exactly my thought. I'm not gonna bother with it. I have a Ruger P89 if I want to shoot a "non-competitive 9mm". That XDm 5.25 is super thrilling to think about!
  11. yeah, the trigger is pretty good for out of the box. If you spend some time polishing the contact surfaces it gets even better. I friend let me dry fire a CZ SP01 and all I could think was, "EEWWW, yuk!". The trigger was heavy, mushy and imprecise; and that was the single action! Tanfoglio did the Limited right!
  12. In my quest for a Production gun, the Witness has popped up a few times, but now that I read about the XDM 5.25, I doubt that anything else will sparkle in my eye. The XDm fits my hand so perfectly, and the single action is easier to learn than the DA/SA of the Tanfoglio/CZ series. But a nice gun for $300 new is still a deal. If only I wasn't taking a 65% pay cut to move back to AZ! I firmly believe that starting out with a top of the line platform is way better than turd polishing and eventual replacement.
  13. Another month has gone by and I still can't find anything out.
  14. I've noticed that the Witness Classic has dropped down to UNDER $300 on Gunbroker.com and a couple other dealers on the net. Is there something wrong with the gun? The only one that I handled at a gun shop had a trigger defect (when pulling the trigger slowly the hammer would fall to half-cock). Would this make a good Production gun? I use a Limited in, well, limited division and love it!
  15. Great job. I gave up on the CR Speed holster when my Limited fell out of it into the pumice. I monkeyed with it but could never get it to fit right, so I made a kydex holster and mag holders. It's great to see there is a fix for the CR Speed and maybe I'll look at them again.
  16. I think I know what your issue is, I think the trigger bar is hanging up a little. When you reinstall the trigger and trigger bar, there is a little up and down movement that must be done to align the whole system.. It could have been that when you moved the pretravel screw, the alignment got a little off. When getting the safety back in , I wiggle it a bit, and it snaps right back in, but if the sear assembly is not positioned right, it will never go back in.. Keep at it, It will go back together, but it takes some wigglin of the trigger bar to allow the sear to fit all the way into the frame. Once the sear is back in, you have to hold it down with your thumb while you put the safety back in.
  17. Probably won't need to smooth anything out if you are replacing the hammer and trigger. The sides of the trigger bow and the barrel lug may need some help. If you shoot it enough, it will be very smooth without dremeling.
  18. have you contacted Cybergun? They look to be the group producing the gun but are not a retailer, or at least there site did not give the option of purchase. They did have a link for Palco Sports which did have two Tanfoglio airsoft for sale, just not what you are looking for. Well I sent Cybergun an email more than a week ago, and as typical for a big company, I got no response. Still searching...
  19. Well its the end of May and I can't find ANY info about this toy. :angry2: Does anyone know whats going on with production or availability? Or is this just one more example of vaporware?
  20. maybe Hi-desertdog? 22 upper
  21. Tagged to keep this on my profile page for update to follow. I'm not sure how this got into the 1911 forum, it was originally posted in the EAA/tanfoglio forum.
  22. Just too damn expensive to buy ammo, in enuf quantity to actually practice. Just too dam tough to reload, as there are no suppliers of bullets, and you would have to trim the cases (UUGGGHHH!!! i HATE trimming).
  23. You may need to adjust the lips of your mag, but one *should* not get nose dives with factory new ammo, with the factory follower. Nose dives with the gramms follower do occur for some using factory ammo. although this does not seem to be very common.
