  2. ...any update yet???....mikey357
  3. ...okay, so NOW Revolver shooters have HAIRY PALMS?!?!...the Nuns warned me about that, altho' I do NOT think it had anything to do with "Round Guns"...seems that "Shooting" might have been mentioned, however....mikey357
  4. Any UPDATE yet???...let us know....mikey357
  5. ...well, it's a SHAME about the "Economies of Scale" thing...College Professor TRIED explaining that to me once, but since it did NOT involve girls, cars, guns OR football, well...I'da bought one...AT LEAST one...even if "MM" is a TIGER fan!!!...Randy, do you have an "In" with S&W so that you can obtain the Ti cylinders to do the conversion(s) on some kind of "Regular" basis???...Thanks....mikey357
  6. Randy, I HATE to disappoint, but I'm a transplanted GATOR!!!...I've gotta' put up with those darn "DAWGS" all year!!! BTW, the fact that the cylinder has been "Re-imported"...got all those NASTY "Import Stamps" and such...that should make it LESS expensive, right??? RIGHT???...tongue-in-cheek--THIS time....mikey357
  7. ...I'm not "Skip Chambers", but...what "Dash Number" 625 does that "Slightly Used" cylinder fit???...also, for Middle Man..."War "Eagle", huh???...more like "Pissed-off Crow"....mikey357
  8. ...gee, I corresponded with Tom Kilhoffer and Mark Hartshorne about the issue of 9mm/.38 Super in Revos' some time ago...the consensus was that chambering the cylinder for 9x23 Win. would let you use 9x23 Win., 9mm Para AND .38 Super in the SAME cylinder...can't remember if you'd need to use different "Clips". tho'...lotsa' gray hair, you unnerstand....mikey357
  9. ...hypothetically speaking, I think it's a GREAT idea!!!...speaking for myself, I've got ONE 627--a "V-Comp"...and about a DOZEN L-frames...hint, hint...wonder if a SEVEN-shot L-frame cylinder in 9mm is a possibility???...that would make a good steel and ICORE gun, IMHO....mikey357
  10. ...so, Hoppy, what is (are) the date(s)???....mikey357
  11. ...for Patrick Sweeney: I've got a pre-Model 26...Model of 1950 Target...six-and-a-half inch barrel...in .45 ACP...on the way here (the HOT, HUMID South)...IF you'll be in these parts anytime soon, you're welcome to shoot it, measure it, weigh it, whatever...it is a "Shooter Grade" gun, and I'm planning to fire it some meeself...IF that sounds like something you want to arrange, you can e-mail me at mps6gunner@mindspring.com Hoping to see a "Race Revo" from Springfield, MA, sometime soon....mikey357
  12. ...heck, yeah, I'd buy one...at LEAST one... Mikey likey 625's!!!....mikey357
  13. Yeah, I'd be REAL INTERESTED!!!...what date(s) are we talking about, so I can sucker, er, I mean "Work With" those with less seniority at work to make sure I get that day off???...Thanks....mikey357
  14. ...let's get back to the "Thread Drift" about the Ti cylinders for a minute...two things...first I've GOT a 325 "PD"...have between 400-500 rounds thru it...not a lot, but so far, NO evidence of "Bullet Pull"...is it really an issue for some people??? If so, using WHAT KIND of ammo??? Second, if I've "Read Between the Lines" correctly, Randy has experimented with a Ti cylinder in a 627...I'm guessing that it was the "327" cylinder...if so, how much WEIGHT came out of the GUN making that swap???...Thanks in Advance....mikey357
  15. ...what Carmoney said...the revo should be set up to get the triggerpull/hammerfall required to be 100% reliable with the stain screw BOTTOMED OUT...screwed ALL the way IN...or you WILL have problems down the road...and, at the WORST possible time...ask me how I KNOW....mikey357
  16. ...can anyone tell me when "Scary" Jerry Miculek is scheduled to shoot...I'd like to come out and just watch...Thanks....mikey357
  17. ...has anybody had any experience with the Bushnell Holosight or the EOTech as far as standing up to heavy-recoiling revo's??? Thanks....mikey357
  18. ...started out with a Smith&Wesson Model 19 in 1974 or so...still have it, and a BUNCH of other "Roundguns"...compete mostly at IDPA and "Steel Challenge"-type matches, and I'm PROUD to say I have NEVER fired a Centerfire autoloader in either type of competition...altho' I HAVE fired my Ruger MKII in the "Steel" matches a few times...and yeah, I DO own a coupla' bottom-feeders...no, NOT lawyers...just so I can claim to be "Open-minded"...yeah, RIGHT!!!....mikey357
  19. "Accidental De-mooning"...LOL!!!....mikey357
  20. ...it WOULD be nice to have a place in USPSA where I could shoot my 627 and utilize it to its' fullest "Capacity"...naahhh, on second thought, that'll probably NEVER pass muster with the "Powers That Be"... ....mikey357
  21. Ron Holland is an EXCELLENT Revo shooter...certainly NOT up there with "Scarry Jerry", Zimmerman and those guys, but VERY good...and a HECK of a nice guy, to boot...he's a lot of fun to watch...so ECONOMICAL with his movements that when the timer is thru, you're like "Huh, was he THAT fast???"...looks almost EFFORTLESS...wish I could shoot like that when I grow up!!!...either that, or I'd like to be a FIRE TRUCK!!!....mikey357
  22. ...the "Tube-type" de-mooner, as sold by Tom Kilhoffer at moonclips.com and Brownell's, among others, doesn't seem to have the "Breakage" problem...FWIW....mikey357
  23. ...guess I "Double-Clutched" that one...lots better than "Short-Stoking", I guess!!!....mikey357
  24. ...OOPS!!!...the DREADED "Double-Post"!!!....mikey357
  25. ...ONE cartridge at a time...LOL!!!....mikey357
