I ran Solo 1000 under 147gr lead in my Xd 9 with good results for Production. Anyone using lead and Solo in a 40 Limited??

I like the ability to adjust the tension and length to suit me. I'll take one too!

Mag release is too short for me. I end up changing my grip to reach it. If it was just a wee bit lopnger it would be perfect. Is anyone offering a replacement solution? If not I have a buddy that has a CNC and might see if he can make one to replace it.

Is there a particular bullet shape that I should stay with or away from when loading for the Limited? round nose, Flat nose etc?? Looking at the Precision lead 185's RN but also found some nice Jacketed but they are Flat nose

How hard a procss is it to install the Hennings pin and hammer spring? Mine should be in the mail today

yeah it will wear the slide etc..but even pretty girls get dirty.. race it and dont sweat it

thanks for all the work getting all the "fixes" and new "wants" for the Tanfo stuff..It sure is nice to have someone working to help the retail users. One other question..since i upgraded to a new Limited my XD t shirts just got grabbed up by the kids who now are using my old gun (XD)..anyplace i can get some cool t shirts or other stuff?????

Dave#1..lol...Thanks for the offer to borrow mags. Id love to just buy the Hennings 21 rounders but at 95 each and 4- 5 of em its worth it to me to save the dough and go cheap...lol for now anyway. I still need to get a 40 conversion kit for the dillon and all the lead and brass ect. plus mag carriers and holster etc etc SO the cost keeps adding up of course. bought new Limited for USPSA Lim10..From what I hear the Limited has a few mag issues but is it only the high capacity mags? I can only have 10 rounds in mag. Am I better off just buying factory mags?

yeah I Was just checking those out. I have run the Bladetech ones in Production and didnt care much for them. Although the Bladetech DOH holster is my favorite by far. I'll have to order some 771's when i order the new xl pin and new spring

any suggestion for mag carriers? Leaving Production class and my XD behind..ordered a new Limited in 40...any suggestions on mag carriers ? Going to play in Lim10 this yr.

I run solid rod, 14# ISMI spring and it will cycle mnior laods . 147 Gr precision , 3.3 gr Solo1000 _ 880 fps for 129 PF soft push on recoil. XD tactical 9mm

I have tried contacting the Co for Sunbusters glasses and also the Rudys project glasses from the member here on Enos.. no call backs and no emails replied back..any suggestions on where to spend my money?lol I need Rx glasses and want a few different colors to insert..

Finally got the loads that work well. I got a lighter recoil Spring from IMSI and also switched to SOLO 1000 powder. I loaded some Bear creeks and some Precisions I bought in 147 gr. Both worked but the Bear Creek gave me a bit more lead in the barrel so staying with the Precisions. I had no prob with stabilizing the Precision bullets in 147 I also tried some in 125 as well. The 147s with 3.2 grains of Solo gives up juuust under 900 FPS I added a shok buffer and voila.. My 9mm shoots nice, tracks even better and the felt recoil is very very minimal..

I have been using 147 Jacketed bullets by a Manufacturer that is no longer in business(Star bullets) had very good luck with them. But I am about out and have been searching for a replacement. Precision bullets say the 147's will not stabilize in my XD 5 in gun..Zeros are no where to be found..Berrys has bullets so might try them. However...The lowest I can get using 147's in PF is 139 ..The 14.5 pound spring is about as light as I can go without slide/battery issues. WHat loads are getting closer to the 125 PF for XD's? I like the soft push of the 147's but if I can get lower recoil...well why not? lol thoughts suggestions? My current load is 147 gr over 3.8 gr 231 at 950fps

I found some Star bullets but they are out of business now..I bought several thousand and now about out..so time to find something I can stick with. Precision says no stabilize, Zeros are always out of stock...Berrys have them so might have to go that route..Now time to decide on what weight..Buddy of mins says less recoil w 124's but the 147's have been working for me..decisions decisions. HE has some 124's I am going to try

I used the 147's from Bear Creek in my 5 in Xd 9mm.. Great loud but severe leading for me.. 3.4 gr 231 gave me 950 fps..no smoke, VERY light recoil and smooth..Just bad leading made the cleaning a chore so switched back to jacketed. I wanted to try some Precision bullets but the guy emailed me atold me the 147's wont stabilize in an XD?

Star bullets jacketed 147 gr , 3.8 gr of 231 using CCI small pistol primers loaded to 1.140 OAL 950 fps +/- 15 ..139PF
