  1. Awesome, thanks! I'll have to get one. They call it a PTX powder measure stop, Item # is 290049 it will run you about $8.00 + $4.75 for shipping. 1-800-338-3220 is the Phone #
  2. I bought a new 75B in 2004 and it did this, but I was using some slightly hot Barnaul ammo. I don't know the cause, but the problem seemed to go away after a while. I'm sure if you asked Angus on the CZ Forum, he could tell you. I'll see what my czource says next time I talk to him.
  3. HAs anyone ordered one from Hornady? What do they call it?
  4. I ~think~ I preferred the feel of my .40 Limited unlightened. I had Rich at CC do the "coffin cuts"..I think they took out about 1oz. I am running a 12lb. spring now. It feels very quick/harsh, more so than with a stock slide. I agree that it depends on what power factor ammo you are going to be running through it. My 9mm match with a stock slide feels so sluggish I bumped the ammo from 130 to 137 PF running an 8lb spring.
  5. Say hello to a Prednisone prescription..
  6. Has anyone weighed one of the new mags? Pretty important for IDPA. My old style Supersighted 9mm Match barely makes weight for ESP with a set of Henning grips.
  7. Yeah, the last time I talked with them wanting "new style, rear spacer mags" they sent me old ones......good luck with that.
  8. Solo 1000 seems to have a good reputation for use with lead and moly. Just buy it in larger batches since it does have a bit of lot to lot variation. I get 8 lbs at a time.
  9. Same mag size, but there are external differences. The Limited models have the front and back grip area checkered, square trigger guard, and the bottom of the frame is different. Most of the guns imported by EAA are the "Large frame" variety, but in Europe they offer "small frame" guns, too.
  10. They are different frames. The Limited uses the "Large Custom" frame , the Match uses the standard frame.
  11. You can use a type of epoxy for the Canyon Creek magwell...
  12. Marschal light weight grips, 10 round mags, replacing the stock recoil spring, and the flush 75b spring plug should get an SP-01 under 39oz. I am running original 19round mags in an '06 3 slot gun, and make weight with those things done. The 10 rnd makes are a good bit lighter than the 19 rnd mags. As the previous poster said, you could go for a Phantom, but I would go with a 75SA or 85 Combat if shooting just ESP. My CZ factory tour with Martin Kamenicek, CZUB team open shooter....
  13. The DOH holster is legal for Production.
  14. Looks like a longslide model, a holster for a Witness Match might work, but the trigger guard is different. I don't think a 75 holster would work well due to the longer Tango barrel.
  15. I've run factory length 40 in my 10mm mags with no trouble. I usually run my 40 reloads at 1.185...
  16. Save your $30...people have tried the 38 Super Mec-gar mags before and they won't work for 9mm. The mag body is just not shaped right. The new style mags will someday be more available, but who knows when..I can get 14 to work without too much trouble, but most of the time I'm loading 11 at the most for IDPA. I've read about someone using a 38 super sizing die before sizing with 9mm die to help out mag feeding. Someone has also used a small frame mag follower. There are several threads that have info in them....
  17. ....with the advent of fake C-mores, how can you tell the difference between them just looking at photos online??? I think I have seen one difference, and that involves the shape of one of the adjustment screws...
  18. I've got a pair of 2005 vintage Matches with the Supersight. The 9 weighs more than the 40, and with a set of Henning Grips, the 9mm barely makes ESP weight and it doesn't have a magwell. The 40 is 1 .oz lighter.
  19. A CZ 75 is fine for SSP in IDPA....hammer down start, safety not on, just like a Glock ()
  20. I stopped using them for the same reasons.I had no trouble with BBI bulllets, so I must suspect their coating formula....
  21. ...from what I understand, the lead styphnate used in primers is the primary danger for ingesting high levels of lead...
  22. Frank Garcia is using a small frame Stock 2. I talked with him at the US IPSC Nationals where he was running it...piqued my curiosity because I thought he was running a large frame gun, and perhaps had some of the new style 9mm mags that I wanted to look at..
  23. Just make sure that if you install one, that it is not too tight of a fit. I had to run an EGW pin because the titefit pin caused some interference at the point in the barrel "kidney" where it changes angles. It was fine in my other Tanfo, so my gun may be at the edge of specs.
