A friend of mine and myself have both placed custom orders from Mark in the past two months and have spoken to him and received our orders promptly. His quality is excellent, and he is great to deal with. Keep trying.

I have had one for a while - You can try it at Ft Benning on the rifle I have had for a couple of years - the LR300. It looks very similar to the ZM weapons comp.

Bullet Feeder For A 1050
joer replied to chuckbradley's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I received the feeder in 38SC - takes about 15 minutes to set up - and works great...Loaded 100 rounds in about 2 1/2 minutes - without rushing! Works perfectly - less to fiddle with than with my RF100! -
We shot the Topton rifle match this past summer - the next day they held an USPSA pistol match on the same cof - they spent a couple of hours just moving a couple of targets closer, and added some no-shoots - did not seem like a big deal to change formats - don't know why it would take a day to change from Limited to Open. Let everyone shoot the same cof - add a couple of no shoots or more swingers...

Regarding "Carmoney's" comments about most of us having jobs - What are the thoughts about 18 stages in 4 days? The first day we shot 2 stages, and the fourth we shot 3. I can only pull the handle on Roger's bullet feeder so much! I enjoyed shooting the Back to Back Nationals last year - but with two different venues at two different times, that becomes excessive. How about 18 stages in 2 days, and have Limited and Open in the same week? Sometime earlier in the year also when there is a little more daylight? There has to be a way to have more people shoot also to increase revenue somewhat. I believe that USPSA management are the same for both matches, so costs should decrease also.

Am I the only one that gets aggravated when I need to buy someArmsTec speedloader tubes and handles, that I get a package including a pouch, bracket and hardware that I throw out? Why don't they just sell the tubes?

How come you did not buy it at a local dealership?

New York State Rifle Championship Ii
joer replied to hockeydadnu27's topic in Multi-Gun, Rifle & Shotgun Match Announcements
It was a great match, the weather on Sunday, at least, was fine. Also a pleasure to having you RO our squad on Sunday. Great job - you need to run this again in the Fall! Thanks Joe Cuccia -
I have checked the buttons and the shellplate, plus the adjustment. I pretty much determined that it is the rim thickness. I just got a bunch of brass from someone else, 38 supercomp, and I did not have any problem. I can take the brass and it will not fit into the shelllplate with the shellplate off of the machine, where most of the brass fits just fine. WHen I use a 38 super shellplate, they all fit; however Dillon says that the brass moves around a little too much when you use the 38 super shellplate.
-
I have the same problem with new 38 Supercomp brass from Starline. 1 in 20 will not go into the 223 shellplate on my 650. Anyone else have this problem? It appears as if the rim is to thick.

I have had Randy do some work, including trigger jobs, on two of my Smiths. He is easy to deal with, accessible, and his work is as advertised - smooth, light, reliable, no stacking.

How about a combined weight - shooter and gun?

Bill Wilson should just add a lottery before each match - close your eyes and guess a number between 35 and 40 -

Speaking of 5.11, has anyone tried their new shoe/boot line?

Enforcing the spirit of the rules is not the issue - changing the rules is. A Blade Tech belt holster is legal one day - and the next day - wait - let me get out my vernier calipers and do some measuring......My 686 4" super with moonclips is legal one day - the next - wait - let me load it to - wait - what is the power factor today? Mostly everyone that I shoot with who shot IDPA, is as frustrated as I am.
-
Jkelly's reply made me think of another thing - even though I have not yet shot an IDPA match, and was gearing up to do so, I had been a member - because I wanted to support the organization. I will now let that membership lapse - I rather send in a check to ICORE - of which there is none in the Northeast.
