Ok I know I can order guid rods and springs, no one local carries anything for glock in my area, ( weird right). So for experiment purposes, what other guide rods and springs would work, sig p320 ? Eaa? 1911? Throw me some options

Guide rods made for Glocks..... Lonewolf, GlockStore, Midway, Taran Tactical, RockyourGlock, Zev, Ranier, Brownells, Amazon

If you are going down in spring weight, you can use the OEM. Crank the slide back, pop the tip off, put the new spring on the rod, rack it back, and stick the tip back in. This does not work for 20lb and higher spring weights as the plastic insert will not hold it in place. Even if you do not replace the tip, it's just un-captured.

Jager or jaeger are in mine.

Extended in mine

The extended make changing the spring 100% easier than the standard length

Only problem is you basically have to have a 34 vs a 17 etc

G34 and G17 guide rods are the same

Not when you get an extended one.

And in my first post that's what was in the first sentence.

So simply put. An extended GR will stick out of a17 vs a34

OP isn't asking about OEM

I do agree and concede to the obvious
