kimel
Yeah...get well soon! They are amazingly resilient critters. I did that to myself when I was younger and stupider. Took me several days to be back to feeling kinda normal.

PHolsted
Well a turn for the worse. Things were starting to look good for a few days but now she has stopped eating and has not been doing her "business". She has lost two pounds seance are last trip to the vet on Tuesday. They are going to keep her overnight with fluids and may do some type o exploratory to look for an obstruction. Man I just hate this! I can't stand not being in control!!! PHolsted
Well it only gets worse. Kimber has been at the vet getting fluids all weekend and her white count is still off the chart! So our local vet sends us to a surgical vet. We go there this morning and x-rays shows she has some type of obstruction on her intestinal track that is going to have to have surgery to remove it. After all the time at the vets and the test results they are thinking that the blockage is what caused her to stop drinking water and have the heat stroke. Hope to here from the vet soon about the results of the surgery!

Sarge
I'll bet she ate something. A toy or sock or something. I hope that I am right and it is nothing worse. Best wishes to you and the pooch.
PHolsted
Well just a call from the Vet.... Looks like she ate 1/2 of a rug or something. Most of it stayed in her stomach but some of it moved down into the intestine. They said surgery went good and she should get to come home Wednesday....... Thanks again
XRe
Good news! Not out of the woods, yet, but an obstruction like that isn't going to help anything!
