Navysteve
I need to know who to contact about a match that was really unsafe. Do I call USPSA HQ or NROI
XD Niner
I'm sorry to hear about this. Can you tell us what safety issues you encountered? That way we may be better able to direct you.
Sarge
Can't you start with the MD and his staff? But of course not knowing all the facts they may BE the problem. My guess would be NROI of the two choices offered.
Navysteve
I saw 3 MAJOR SAFETY violations. A 180 violation, one of the people who was running the match covered his hand with his gun while opening a door, AND my favorite is at a "pistol match" a shooter dropped his hand gun "loaded" while putting his shotgun on the bench in the middle of the stage. None were DQ'D
Neomet
I'd 'd at least start off with the MD. Their response would have me decide if I needed to escalate the complaint.
BSeevers
If you don't feel comfortable dealing with MD see your Section coordinator
Sarge
Yep, DQ's for sure. I still say try to let the locals work it out. But on second thought everyone, and I mean everyone, reads this forum. So the word is already out more or less.
kz45
It doesn't sound like the match was the problem, some safety rules were broken, it happens all the time, nobody is perfect, the problem lye's with DQ's not being issued
Flexmoney
I am going to close this...as we don't need to air anybody's laundry out here. But, go up the chain... Talk with the Match Director, the Section Coordinator, the Area Director...
