paraman1
OK its not a .308 but its parent cartridge is. I am hoping to use this .243 VLS in some long range precision matches next year . Or at least kill Gophers with it .
Zak Smith
What's the twist in that .243? I have a Winchester .243 that looks almost the same. -z
Bear1142
Here's a couple pics (hopefully) of my 308. May even give MOR a try with it. Erik
paraman1
The advertised rate of twist is 1 in 9 1/8 inches . Should shoot 85 and 90 grainers like a house on fire .

rhino
Krico 650 Sniper Rifle w/Schmidt & bender Scope and German made QD mount. I've never heard of a Krico . . . is it custom, or something from Germany? (or both)?
EvilPJ
I used this set up last summer at Level III Riflematch in Finland. Oh boy, did that can heat up during long stages. I still can see the heat waves... And PF 440 didn't help me too much either. Well at least I made major...

Vlad
Crummy picture of my Savage 10FP, Rifle basix triger, Bushnell Elite 3200 10x MilDot, large knob bolt handle. I like it. Click on it for the large version. Vlad
rhino
Vlad ... I have the same scope on a compact Ruger .308. I've only put 20 rounds through it, but I like the glass more than I like the rifle. I keep threatening to turn the little Ruger into a "scout" rifle and move the Bushnell 3200 to a little more "serious" .308 bolt gun.

echo3mike
The OD tape is holding padding for a field expedient cheek rest. If it's good enough for my Marine Corps brothers, it's good enough for me. S.
rhino
There's something I like about seeing a makeshift cheekrest taped onto the stock of a rifle like that with a big $$$ scope on top. It's so ... practical.
John Dunn
Packing tape? Dude! That's high speed, low drag 100 mile per hour tape! I love the term "field expedient" and seeing rifles with tape all over the place. Show some repsect for tactical duct tape!
