  3. I'm wondering what USPSA matches and/or 3 gun is being shot on the weekend 12/20-21 other than the USPSA match at Dessert Sportsmens on 12/21. I'll be around starting Friday and I wanted to shoot some matches if possible. thanks, alan
  4. I met these two operators at the match. They mentioned something about answering phones, vmail and transferring calls. We had a great time and we will back for more next year. The RV area was great.
  5. He is one of the top hotdog skiers from the 80's I've been told:) alan
  6. A rare sighting of a 3 Gun shooters other equipment was seen in a ski area. Maybe you know him. alan
  7. I built the slow fire upper for Jason using a Lage Max-11 which slows the cyclic down to around 600/min. It is a better setup for subgun matches. alan
  8. All of the AMU folks did a fantastic job. I have to thank Linda especially for getting me in off the waiting list or otherwise I couldn't have won trooper . Every year since the AMU started this match I have attended. I almost made the mistake of not attending this year, but boy would I have missed out on some awesome stages and a great match staff!! It seems like my family has turned the meeting in Ft. Benning into a family get together since my brother, father and uncle have been coming to watch. I spent 5yrs of my childhood at Ft. Benning so it is nice to go back. My brother shot some video of me shooting a couple of the stages and I finally got around to posting it. thanks again to everyone who made this match happen especially my sponsors Cavalry Arms My little Green Cav-15 kicked butt. I can't wait to see the footage that Russell has from the Striker. Alan
  9. I guess no one is going to shoot trooper except for me, the Cav boys and two others. I think someone else should do it also, but hey that is just me. alan ps. our new machineguntours calendar is coming out soon
  10. Dammit Russell is shooting again. You guys better bring your A-Game. He is a ringer!!!!!! here is what I can't do at whittington. Here is one case of dynamite (88 sticks) with the first shot with the 60. alan 1case.MOV
  11. Ty, The ammo is including in the cost of the rental or the side match. You don't need to bring your own ammo:) alan
  12. I have two points of interest for all of those attending RM3G this year! 1. If you haven't had enough shooting by the end of the match on saturday and have an extra day to stay the "Sporting Rifle Match" will be on Sunday September 9th on the backside of Whitting. For those of you who like to shoot the long range this is the match for you. More info can be found here. http://demigodllc.com/srm/ 2. I will be back this year running both a Machinegun sidematch (cash payback) and general Machinegun rental for those of you who want to come and play. I will have the Hummer with the PKM mounted in the back. I am planning on bringing; MP5, AK-47, AKS-74U, AUG, G-36, M-16, M-4, HK-51, Thompson M1A1, Glock 18c, Uzi, M-14, PKM, M60E3, M240B, M249, MG-42. 13. I'm glad you had a good time and thanks for match report and video. We all have a little bit of Borat in us, don't we?? I still want to get the footage of my one handed pistol run by on the gully:) Here is a link to the pics Zak took and I'll look thru my video soon, Zak's Pics. alan
  14. The stages are coming along nicely and a revised schedule has been posted at Revised Schedule. One major change is that the night shoot will be occuring Friday evening after the Shooters Meeting. Billeting currently does not have many shooters scheduled, so please be sure to contact base billeting at 307-836-7814 and let them know you are there for the Colorado Multigun match. They will be attempting to house all competitiors in Bld 409, which is good because it has AC:) see you all there, alan
  15. Trapr, I would recomend bringing a minumum of 100rds for precision rifle targets unless you never miss:) Here is a general match update. The stages are looking great. Eric and I are headed up to Guernsey tomorrow to drop targets and finalize stage locations. I may share some pictures of stage locations when we get back. The night shoot will be awesome. Additionally we will have one special event that shooters will find out about when they get there. I hope to see everyone now since the ITRC is canceled! alan
  16. Our Invitational is shaping up be our best match yet at Camp Guernsey. Please get your applications in as soon as possible. Registration Form We are also still looking for sponsors Sponsor Information The Invitational format requires the individual competitior to shoot rifle (can be the same rifle as your carbine), carbine, and pistol to their effective ranges at practical targets in the natural terrain. Shooters should expect: 6-8 field stages shot in the natural terrain over 2 days, including a night shoot (night vision gear not required) physical challenges, obstacle negotiation, climbing, crawling, likely water and mud local altitude of 4900' shooting rifles to 1000 yards and carbines to 400 yards mixture of "precision" and "speed" shooting with scoring to match "Run-n-Gun" vehicle stage Photos from the March Shoot I hope to see many familiar faces there:) alan
  17. I'm hoping to get more Wyoming guys there with us on Saturday to help setup. The months match will be in new location at the end of the road where the Humvee stage was. We will need to do a little hiking to set targets, but any help will be appreciated. alan
  18. I sent this request to the email listed on the site but did not get a response, so I'm asking here. I would like to know if the Saiga-12 will be allowed in tactical class? I read the instructions and the limitation for shotguns was "No Speedloaders" so will my iron sighted Saiga be allowed in Tactical??
  19. Kurt is absolutely correct! We actually have more rules regarding bullet impact than any other civilian range I've been on. When we determine what areas we want to shot at we use Range fan overlays on the map and plot the max trajectory by caliber that will be fired to determine that we don't have intersecting fields of fire. We follow all Army range safety protocols, but since you haven't been there it would be hard for you to know this. On most normal ranges this would be a concern. alan Let figure this out at CMMG. alan
  20. Yes, You are one of the ones we don't have an email for:) The link is live so you can sign up at http://coloradomultigun.com/cgi/ Thanks for volunteering to RO. When do u think you will be getting in? see u at CMMG??, alan Thanks! We do get to do some great stages at Guernsey. alan
  21. It is already set as an individual event, but I promise it will be different and challenging from the PRTC. Have you sent in your registration and do u want to RO again? alan
  22. We had another great event at Camp Guernsey, WY this past weekend with 5 stages. We were also doing some testing of things to come for future matches. Here is a composite of the video. alan
  23. Thanks to all who came and helped. We will have another awesome match next month. We may be back driving in the hummer if all goes well. alan
