eerw Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 (edited) need a quick education.. got some Dawson basepads for STI/SV couple of them have the groove for the mag in the middle. and a couple have the groove at the bottom of the pad. looking at the Dawson site..they are all listed at +1 what's up???? sfinney Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 (edited) Stu, in the pic you showed me the one on the left is a + 2, the one on the right is a +1. Dawson does not sell +2 pads anymore. They are somewhat hard to find and in demand by Open shooters. A +2 pad will make a 140mm tube illegal in Limited or L-10. I just haven't seen many guys shooting L-10 STIs with 170mm widebody STI mags, so it slipped my mind 170mm single stack mags are used for .45 to get 10 rounds. good catch.
