2009 IDPA Carolina Cup

Recommended Posts

Same set up as last year because it worked really well.

Many of the best stages from the last 10 years at The Range will return. 16 stages and bring 250 rounds.

Frank and company are still deciding on and fine tuning stages.

I understand that the "coffin" might appear this year.

I can't wait. If you folks have never been to this match i gotta tell you that this was the best match that I attended all year. Frank and company really rolled out the welcome mat and took great care of all of us and even signed my card personally when I got bumped....

I hope to be able to attend this match, but I have to work it out with the State Games of NC event that I am the Event Manager for on the 20th. I think that I might be able to shoot the whole match on Thursday and handle my responsibilities with the State Games the next two days.

Now I just have to find the time to shoot the classifier for Enhanced Service Revolver in the near future. :)

WOW! What a great match.

Thanks to Frank Glover and his polite, professional staff; USPSA GM El Conquistador for making the trip north, bringing the Revolver turn out up to 36 and crossing over (my turn in August at Area 7); and to TC for making the preliminary results available: http://www.pappasventures.com/News/2009/CupScores.pdf

If you have never shot this match, you MUST do it next year. I would walk to this match if I had to.

Craig, thanks for cross posting the results link. I just got to thinking that it should be over here also, and you beat me to it. I'll probably take down that link whenever the 'official' results get put up.

Oh, and please, if you decide to walk to the match next year, keep your long pants on. Those white Yankee legs are a bit much for us to take down here!

This was my first cup and I loved it. For anyone who could not make it you should really try next year. As a bonus all who could not go here is the coupon code for the same discount the shooters got from EOTAC clothing

Mark, thanks for the great job you, Tom, and Dave did at the clinic. Hope to see you there next year.

Got to add this was the first time I have shot the Carolina Cup and it was a very well run match.

They had some great sponsors there too. Thanks to all the effort made a great match.

I was impressed with shooting 8 stages in less than 5 hours with a 10 to 12 shooter squad.

What fun it was.

Outstanding Job!!!
