Well,I'm going to try to remember what was happening in '92.I remember totally losing interest in top 40 when I was a freshman,so that would leave whatever Metal or bubble gum Punk I could find in BFSD.Metallica,Slayer,Motley Crue,The Offspring, etc.I think around '92 is when metal was being overtaken by grunge.Nirvana,Alice in chains, etc. There was also a pretty big resurgence of country then too.We listened to a lot of the outlaw stuff,Charlie,Hank,Steve Earl,Confederate Railroad, etc.Thats pretty much what I remember.-Mike

I don't want to be the baby in this thread so I won't mention the particular year but it seems I am younger than everyone else. My musical tastes then were as schizo as they are now, but remembering then I had everything from Chris LeDoux to Metallica and everything between, lots of pop and dark pop too like Depeche Mode. Who remembers TimmyT? I had a a lot of music I wasn't particularly fond of but the girls I was attempting to molest at the time were very particular LOL.

I grew up in a backwater small town, so we were a couple years behind in movies and music. It was a great big world when I went into the service!!!

Wow! You guys are really old! :surprise:

I graduated in '93. This record came out in '92, but I remember blasting this as I tore into the parking lot for my graduation. I wore this friggin' record out!

Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face

(It has printed lyrics so everyone can sing along!)

I went to high school when the musical abortion known as "grunge" was popular. That stupid genre killed metal for quite a few years.

Hail Slayer!

Alan,

Thanks dude!

I could not remember the name of that tune (#100 in your list) for the life of me and it was driving me nuts.

Was searching ITunes calling it all kinds of names.

Thanks man.
