el pres
Looking good !! So you've been spared, Nancy will have a gun for RM3G after all !! I'm looking forward to seeing the Firebird in person, we will have to meet up sometime and say hi at the match. Bigshooter will also be there with Nancy's old gun ... ? We have to swap the comp out, got any goos ideas on holding the barrel without too much disassembly ?? Peter

LadyinBlue
YOu and Nancy need ..8 ? We will keep 3 as they have special serial numbers. The other 5 are for customers who ordered special colors or in the white. It only takes 1 ... to win. oooooooo what a nice color blue!
J-Ho
Holy frickin' wow!!!!! That blue looks awesome! 2 awesome guns, 2 awesome people. You cut it a little close for the RM3G. I'm glad they came in on time. It is a little strange though, Jim can build a rifle that fast, but he can't fix an oven for months. When are you sending out those naked receivers? SA Friday
Jim, I'm itching to see the photos you attached, but our glorious military comm system has deemed to strip them from the post. I won't be at the Mile-Hi or RM3G Cound you email the photos to me? sean.myhre@tlab.afcent.af.mil I'm thinking about getting a receiver set from you when I get back from Flotsam. NMBOpen
Just got home from a visit to Jim's place where I picked up a rifle purchased here on the forum. I'd never owned/shot an AR before today, so I got some basic instruction from Jim, then we went out in the back yard and took some bench shots to 200, 300, and 400 yds. On the paper/gong's with the optics right out of the box. Then Jim says try this one, and it turns out to be the first production Firebird! Set up for Open. It just WOULDN'T miss . He'll be building a Tactical Optics version for me after IonBond makes it match my Diamond Black STI Open pistol. Jim and family had an awesome day yesterday (Team Lambert takes Gold), and today he made my day.
