Firearms ID Request

Recommended Posts

I have a friend who needs some firearms identified. (That's all I'd like to say about that.) Nothing is for sale, we just need manufacturer, model, and caliber, if possible. So I put those I couldn't ID up here, cause I'm out of the loop on the newer stuff. ;)

Please refer to the 3 digit number above each gun in your reply. (As opposed to saying something like "The longslide is a blah blah blah.")

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Brian

If it's not a JP, then someone has put a JP stock with the bar across the bottom of the gun.

If you look carefully, you will see subtle clues as to the identity of a JP rifle, most notably th emanufacturer and model number engraved on the lower receiver :)

616 is definitely in an AI *stock*, but I can't tell if it is an AI rifle or a Rem700 action in an AI stock. Note that the value of an AI rifle is probably several times the value of a re-stocked Rem-700, unless the Rem has been "blueprinted and built"

Bruce (and for-sure I can't tell what caliber it is)

The real AI has a squared back portion of the bolt. Gun pictured above looks like a real AI and if so, its worth a lot more than a 700 in an AICS stock. Nice find! (and too rich for my blood).
