SA Friday
Wife sent me this one today. Where to begin! 1. That's my side of the bed, damn it. 2. Guess the 'dogs not on the furnature' rule went in the crapper while I was away. 3. I have no recollection of ever seeing that dog when I was in the house. 4. Jesus, that's a 35lb 5 year old. Look at the size of that dog's head! 5. That ain't no teddy bear, boy. 6. I really hope they are cleaning up the cow patties from that thing or my grass is gone. 7. I don't even want to know what the food bill is now that we have three dogs over 50 lbs 8. Akida's are cool 9. Why is my kids head all sweaty, and on my pillow, damn. 10. If this is all I have to worry about while gone from home, I'm fortunate.
kz45
You don't have to worry about anything when you have a friendly Akita laying around the house acting like a guard dog

SA Friday
Pretty funny. Might want to have the wife muzzle him the first time you come home :popcorn1: Wife says he's pretty dosile, but ya, I don't think I'll push my luck right off the bat. Apparently, Duke has taken a shine to Aiden. Akidas were bred for guard duty and can be very protective. Ours is a great neighborhood, but I think our house would be suicide with that dog and my wife in it together.... They're safe.

I had a 180 lb Bullmastiff and he looked small next to an Old English Mastiff.
Dave Gundry
Not to hijack, but THIS is a big dog To put it in perspective, I'm 6'4" (and was back when that pic was taken years ago) I think he was about 220lb in that pic.
